MoGa, then you would have loved the first emails between Lumus and I. I was so scared, especially after he sent some pictures. I still have some of our early emails together... [;)]

Asher my pleasure..I wish you luck...even farms use computers these days and horse breeders. I stopped into my local bookstore one day to find a book and ran into an older woman who was nearly in tears trying to find a book that would teach her to use the computer she had. Even the for Dummies books had her flustered. She was afraid to turn it off as she was afraid she would never be able to turn it on again until her son visited again. But it was her main method of keeping in contact with her family (who sends letters these days). Three hours later and she was proficient enough to use the machine, send email, and do simple upkeep on it and was no longer afraid of using the basic programs like Word pad and the calendar. I made a bit of cash for it and she calls from time to time when she has questions.

Heck I have gotten paid for doing basic maintenance on machines for people, they don't have the time or are skittish, not knowing what can be removed, disabled etc...and get frustrated when they start running slow or doing hinky things. My Mother in law who works at NASA, deals with engineers, and works with computers daily calls me every time her computer slows down, picks up a virus or she needs to install a program. Heck I even did the install on her wi-fi, the networked printer and set up my Sis in laws laptop..all of which they INSISTED on paying me for and have reccomended me to friends for the same services. Don't forget car dealerships (used), many need web sites these days to move those cars, shelters (animal), and restuarants who may want to set up online ordering to boost business.

I love it that the Uncle said "Thank you" last night before I turned off his light.  I dang near fell on the floor.  LOL  He hasn't yelled at me since I told him to stop it.  He knows now that I'm going to leave next week as soon as the home health nurse teaches him how to change his own dressing.  I love it when the nurse tells me he isn't "normal".  Like I never noticed that in the last 60 years or so.  Sheesh!!

I love it when His Evilness & I have a long talk about the changes in our lives that are being wrought by this economy thing & it ends with our agreeing to stay together in this relationship no matter where I have to go.  And we exchange mutual statements of adoration.  I truly am blessed to be with him & his lovely wife.  He has told me that he wants to continue to own me even if I have to go on the road & give up my local place.  Off to apply for more jobs now.

I love that I got to have lunch with Sir today.

I love that when I got home and laid on the bed my furbaby came up and laid right on my chest (I can not see the keyboard as I type) She's purring loudly and lovin on her mama.

I love that I get to take a nap.

I love that Linea and His Evilness had a wonderful talk, and he's supportive my our Linea.

Unfortunately, as it stands now, the arms will be there, but the home will not.  So we will do what we can about meeting a few times a year when we can.  It sucks, but we'll work with what we get.

Great suggestion, love, love LOVE bubble and squeak, and if it's made properly, it actually does squeak. It's nice with a little cheese melted on top, too. I'm going to go with my own very spicy chicken wings, lots of em, and bubble n squeak.

Thanks to you too, Greedy, for your suggestion. We're going to be having a roast on Sunday (it's traditional in my household) and we alternate meats each week, haven't had beef in a while, so could be a serious contender for next Sunday's roast. Now let's get real, chica, salad with roast beef? Are ya kidding me? When you're here you'll find out that roast beef is only ever served with roast potatoes, all the veggies including roast parsnips, and topped off with Yorkshire pudding and lashings of thick, beefy gravy... can't forget the stuffing, too. Now you know why we cultivate such pronounced bellies  [:D] Smooches to ya.


Nope.. the wee barin is still holding on for dear life inside. Though I have been having killer contractions for a bit now. At this point I just try to ignore them.. figuring them as false alarms.

I am so happy you are doing Bubble... Yummy yummy stuff. I broke down and did my shepards pie last night. My girl was in heaven. *smiles*

And yes.. that is how you do a roast. Yummy.

i took a look at the recipe...don't think it is on my meal plan. lol
He is cute and his terminology is so descriptive - a "knob" of butter and a "glug" of olive oil.


Yeah I dont think it would be on any meal plan.... But damn nummy.

I just adore him.. so darn cute.... and just cute. I love his recipes. Very rustic, country style cooking.

Awwww.. I love those shy first emails.. in our case it was the first 2 years of shy emails.

They were soooo sweet, and innocent. ~ About things like sewing, animals, my um... just life in general.

I am so glad my shy one was bold enough to keep emailing me.. and to come down and see me.
