victor borge was a genius.  i loved watching his routines with my gramma, she was a classical pianist and she'd crack up.  when i watch his routines on tape i love that i feel close to her, even if she's been gone 17 years.

Count me in as a  "Borge Buddy"!!!

He was pure genius.  Comedy with a keyboard.  Funny as all-get-out.  And not ONCE did he have to resort to being rude, or crude, or insulting to anyone, or swear so needlessly that every other word needed to be bleeped out in order to be funny.

So called "comics" of today.........  TAKE  NOTE OF THAT.   Clean up your act.  You aren't funny. Just stupid and boring.

I love Victor Borge's  "Phonetic Punctuation" routine.  It is absolutely hysterical!!  I just dissolve into fits of  laughter whenever I see it.

His "Mathematical Language" is great, too.  The routine where every number word is increased by "one".   Where "foreplay" becomes "fiveplay", and "dressed to the nines"  becomes "dressed to the tens".  

It amazes me how he could keep all of his lines straight, and not crack up laughing himself.

*sigh*  They just don't make great comics like him anymore.   More's the pity.

Too true.
But I love the fact that the oldest has finally sent her horse to a trainer's barn so by show season he should be doing really well, and hopefully catch someone's eye and sell for nearly what he's worth. Or at least the trainer can lease him.

Having him up at college while learning a whole new discipline plus competing on the school team, and keeping a good grade point has been too much for her.

Every body and their brother are unloading horses right now.... even the really good ones.

Not sure I could be parted from my horse if I still had one. *smiles*

I am still one of those horse crazy girls.

I am sooo looking forward to having the baby, recouping, and going back to riding/training.

I love it when I wake up around 4 am.. and can not go back to sleep because I am nesting... ( yeah it was an I hate it too.) ~ Which means I am getting closer.

I love it when I lay at the foot of the bed thinking happy new baby thoughts ( My God.. he is almost really here. Really really here!) while I put my hand on the edge of the crib and cry happy tears.

I love it that I can be goofy and vulnerable in front of my Soft... and she just holds me and loves me.

I love it that Tulip was part of my fucked up pregnancy worries dream ( ok nightmare) from hell. I wanted my Tulip!

I love it that the 3 of us can laugh and laugh about the penis shaped yam I *needed* in my fucked up dream.

I love it that I am up to get the um off to his day.. and Soft ( who has had little to no sleep for weeks it seems) gets to sleep in.

I love it that with a boost of energy I went and did all of the free cycle stuff, went groc shopping, rearranged the fridge and freezer, and put away the Groc. I felt like superwoman! ~ I also love that I bought some comfort food stuffs. ( fried Green tomatoes commin right up!)

I love it when Gabe moves my tea mug on my tummy, and we play tag with his toes. He moves them, and I have to find them...

I love having the quiet moments of just singing to him.. or rubbing him. I am so in love with this little guy already. I think I am bound to burst.

I love it that I have such good friends here that got me over the depressed hump I was in, in the very begining... and have helped me see how wonderful this all is. ~ and how blessed I am. *hugs you all*

it was better than being stuck watching Race to Witch Mountain.  Dwayne Johnson should stay out family oriented movies.

i LOVE it that my emo oldest is home!! she's happier than before.

i love it that i get to meet this guy who's the reason for her happy mood these days ...plus i love it that he doesn't mind taking the hunny bunny to see Coraline with them.

I'm loving all the happy stuff on this thread, all the anniversaries & the love & the gooey stuff.  I just hope y'all understand that I can't post very much so I can't say personal I love it's to each & every one of you. 

I love it when the sun shines, even if it's freakin cold out there & it won't last but a day & then the rain & clouds will be back.

I love it that the Uncle's wound is shrinking & that he's resting a lot to help it to heal.

i love that even though i got laid off today, i'm not crying and feeling helpless anymore.  i'll figure something out, i always do.  i love that the grit i'm made of is coming to the surface and taking charge.  yup, i am godzilla, er woman...hear me fucking roar!
