I love it when Thing 1 has a 1000% better evening today than yesterday. [:)]
I love it when Thing 2 is "racing" me in a number game, she wins, and screams out, "I beat Mommy, and she loves being beat!" and all I can do is bite down on the inside of my cheeks and purse my lips so I don't start giggling. [:D]
I love it when DB calls me from the road and asks me what I'd like for dinner, and when I say, "Nothing, just come see me," He says, "I want to get you dinner... you always cook when I come over and I want you to relax." Then, before I can say what I'd like, He reads my mind and my "order," and asks if that would be ok. I smiled and said, "Perfect, Daddy, absolutely perfect." [:)]
I love it when He comes over and the house is completely peaceful.
I love it when we are able to go through a bunch of emails where we are negotiating a play date with a Dom friend of ours who has a new girl, and when I read some things that I think aren't clear, He tells me that they need clarification. I reply that I agree and read my response to our friend, and He says, "Very good. You've already addressed them," and smiles at me. When He asked why I had issues with those things, I was able to tell Him exactly why, etc. and He seemed extremely pleased at the way I used my "Dominant" thinking in the process.
I love it when I take Thing 1 to the store to look around, he is very well-behaved and lets me enjoy a nice conversation with caro, without interrupting. I love it when we have a nice, mature talk on the way home about words and how they can build up or tear down a person and he totally "gets" what I'm saying to him.
I love it when Thing 1 tells me to come inside soon (I was finishing a ciggie) so he can give me a kiss goodnight before he goes to sleep.
I love it when I finish brushing my teeth, turn on my bedroom light, and see both Thing 1 and Thing 2, sound asleep in my bed, leaving me a sliver of the mattress to sleep on tonight. I'll probably wake up looking like a pretzel in the morning, but tonight, I'm gonna be the "Mommy sandwich." *warm fuzzies* [:)]
I love it when my dad is able to get out and about for a while this evening and just have some time to himself.
I love it when I tell DB that I absolutely adore Him for who He is, and for His incredible strength in character and personality, and He says that He adores me for the same reason. [:)]
I love it when we are watching a scene in a video clip, commenting on the sensual and D/s aspects, as well as the practical matters of equipment and the placement of things (you would've thought we were watching a training video about car engines the way we were speaking so technically, LOL), and He says, "You'd sub for him, wouldn't you?" I reply, "Oh yes, Sir! Well, I mean, if You said I could... I don't know, was that too fast a 'yes?'... I don't know what the right answer is!" He laughed and said, "No, that's ok... I know you like watching him scene, and what he does, it's ok if say you'd like to submit to him in a scene setting." And I simply bury my head in His arm, laughing, and say, "Oh good, because I really think his play style is hot, but I thought You wouldn't like me responding in the affirmative so quickly!" Then He giggles, and hands me a double chocolate chip cookie and says, "We're still good" and plants a kiss on my head. [:D]
