I am blessed beyond comparison, Phoenix.  I cannot even begin to tell you how lucky I am.  This precious man is everything a child could ever ask for in a father.  He is the standard that every man should be held to as a man, a father, and  husband.  His capacity for unconditional love for his children (8 of us, a blended family), undying love for his two wives who predeceased him, his commitment to his faith in God, the way he leads by example, his amazing sense of humor, his ability to say the hard things when necessary and remain silent when words could cause hurt, the wisdom of Solomon he has gained by living a life that has not always been easy, his ability to not pass judgment on people, and his never-ending well of forgiveness that he extends to people who have wronged him or his family make him everything that I hold dear, and everything that I can only hope to aspire to one day.

Everyone should have a daddy like him.

i love it when He just wants to spend all weekend with me. i love it when i don't want this weekend to end.
i love it when i know i can be myself with Him around.
i love it when i can be honest with Him about who i am, what i want, and where i want to go.
i love it when He loves me enough to be honest with me.....
i love it when i can check on here and make sure some people i care about and love are doing okay.
i love it that i have people on here who i can be totally transparent with.......
