I am blessed beyond comparison, Phoenix.  I cannot even begin to tell you how lucky I am.  This precious man is everything a child could ever ask for in a father.  He is the standard that every man should be held to as a man, a father, and  husband.  His capacity for unconditional love for his children (8 of us, a blended family), undying love for his two wives who predeceased him, his commitment to his faith in God, the way he leads by example, his amazing sense of humor, his ability to say the hard things when necessary and remain silent when words could cause hurt, the wisdom of Solomon he has gained by living a life that has not always been easy, his ability to not pass judgment on people, and his never-ending well of forgiveness that he extends to people who have wronged him or his family make him everything that I hold dear, and everything that I can only hope to aspire to one day.

Everyone should have a daddy like him.

Of course!  We have been in the habit of "adopting" siblings for me forever.  His heart is big enough to add another person.  *hugs girly*

I love it when I'm blessed to have the best friends ever.

I love it when I can still laugh at myself.

I love it when I took a nap today, that apparently my body needed, and I'm not feeling terribly guilty about it.

I love it when I know that I'm going to be better and that my world will be yummy again.

I love it when my kitchen is really clean because I can't get to sleep after taking a nap this afternoon.  I scrubbed out the fridge, the counters, the oven top, the microwave, the sink, emptied crumbs out of the toaster, and mopped the floor.

I'm wondering if I should just go to bed now.  [8|]

I love it that I have a few close friends that I can call up when I feel all cruddy, and them saying something completely random and goofy has us in a laughing fit that takes away all the bad stuff.

Next week is the anniversary of his birthday.

I love that the weather is so beautiful in Ohio today! I have the next five days off after working a very long week. Sleeping, reading, seeing the sites, my only problem now is what do I do first?

see the sites first.  there's plenty of time for the other stuff later.  if you do the other stuff first, you might not have enough time for the siteseeing later.
