ORIGINAL: camille65 I think it's not very nice and yes.. I know I'm in the minority lol. It's a type of humor I've never really understood, mocking people. It would be an awful awful feeling to have found my profile there with cutting remarks. Yup I totally agree, when you put your picture up on CM the idea is that only people looking at CM will see it whihc implies a particular bent on their part, thats a nilla site and it would be terrible if thats the way that people found out about your lifestyle. And I didnt actually find it that funny to be honest, going 'oh look shes fat' isnt really my type of humor. When you post personal information, including pictures, in an area that is clearly in the public's domain, I think it goes without saying that you lose any expectation of privacy. Because it's clearly a combination of a review, and satire, there's a pretty fuzzy gray first amendment vs copyright issue here. While CM may be, in a strict sense, a private club, there's no bouncer at the front door, and no admission charged. If someone sneaks a camcorder into a private but free dungeon carrying a camcorder, they may be morally invading our right to privacy, but the footage he captures there is still protected (from criminal proceedings) by the first amendment. On the other hand, if someone... erm... featured in the documentary feels they have been wronged, they're entitled to sue in civil court for damages. I'm not saying SA is morally justified; I'm saying that if we want to keep our...erm...assets in the closet, it's our responsibility to keep them there. Don't show your ass, unless you're prepared to have someone point at it and laugh. Stephan
