Okay, y'all have put up with me through a couple of really dumb questions...add this to the list... What is a sadistic submissive? I read it in a post, and thought....huh?

A submissive who is a sadist or has sadistic tendencies. Being a sadist or masochist is a completely different and separate orientation from being submissive or dominant, the same way that being homosexual is completely different from being dominant.

It is also possible to be a Sadist and a masochist. I know a female switch who is most definately Both. i have seen her submit and had her work me over once and i can avow that she is both. laughs

My definition of a sadistic submissive, would be a submissive who continually pissed her Dominant off...............because she likes the punishment (although not a masochist), but even more enjoyed watching her Dominants frustration grow. It feeds her Sadictic side, while still submitting to her Dom. What do you call a Masochist and a Sadistic in the same room? Boring.

Easy- someone who enjoys being submissive when it comes to power exchange, but also gets her rocks off by inflicting pain. It's more complicated than a switch, especially since a submissive sadist could be matched with a dominant masochist ("hit me harder, you little slut!"). That's just one possibility in the broad range of fun and games available when you get past the mindset that all BDSMers fit a narrow little mold. And fastlane-- I don't quite get your joke, unless you're just emphasizing that you're not a sadomasochist and not interested in SM. I'm a voyeur, but only have fun when I'm watching someone REALLY get hurt, so a well-matched sadist and masochist, who have an itch to play, make a room anything but boring for me.

And fastlane-- I don't quite get your joke, unless you're just emphasizing that you're not a sadomasochist and not interested in SM. A joke is never funny when you have to explain it, but since you don't get it...here goes. A Masochist wants pain....A Sadist doesn't want to give a person want they want....so, they both sit in the room and stare at each other. Fastlane throws up his hands..."geez".

Shere Khan Not at all, the D/s orientation is on a completely different axis from the S/M orientation, just as it's on a completely different axis from the het/homo orientation. So you can have a dominant sadist homosexual. Or a submissive masochist heterosexual. Or a submissive sadist homosexual. Or...pick your combo. Being a sadist simply means you get off on hurting other people. Being a masochist simply means you get off on being hurt yourself. I've known a LOT of masochist tops.

To me they are just pains in the arse drama queens and don't deserve the label of submissive or slave. usually they aren't either but use the act of submission to get what they want.... I see them amongst the highest maintance group.

In effect, she is trying to manipulate the situation to being about her. Which places the dynamic in her hands, giving her power, thus eliminating her "submissiveness". On the other hand, if she is not "intending" to anger, then there are some deeper rooted issues going on that need correction and guidance, if the value outweighs the trouble in doing so. Raven Author Edit: I fully realize no one will agree with this. But this post is an honest, NON-combative opinion. It really IS how I think, and believe.

At the time it's my wants, and I just like to inflict pain. If the subject happens to like it, it doesn't matter, hell usually it's a turn on. Making pretty girls or boys cry is fun, no matter if they beg for more. But I did get the joke :)
