Hobble on over here, honey and sit on my lap in this new wheelchair I got. Has HD cable, internet, wireless direct link to Mellow Mushroom Pizza and my medicinal herb connection pharmacist. Gentle, though. I have thin bones.

This year I am definatly starting to feel my joint ache and I have creeks.... I hate that. I actually make noise climbing the stairs but as far as how I act... sometimes I can be very childish... but then I'm a guy so I can get away with it.

windchymes -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 2:49:18 PM)

Well, I'm 50 TODAY!  [sm=givemebeer.gif]

Yesterday at my doctor appointment, he threw the "C" word at me.....say it, popeye.....the dreaded colonoscopy.  I'm not going to feel very damn good after that, now, am I?[sm=dunno.gif]

But, overall, I feel okay.  Sucks getting old sometimes, but I'm having a good time!  [sm=dancing.gif]Heading out to my party.....have a good night, everyone!

meatcleaver -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 2:52:27 PM)

I'm 53 and most people think I'm about 40. That I think, is down to my fair hair(still blond and oh soo young looking) and I'm going to Berlin in the morning (Hmm 5 hours time) and seeing a woman who is 38 who thinks I'm cute. I used to be crazy about a 43 year old from Fresno but it is her loss because I can still fuck from morning till night and Berlin is a great city to do it in but she is stuck in Fresno which even my Californians friend says is a dea in alive hole (I've been there and know it is). So I'm going to be having the fuk of my life (please god, please!) and she id going to be giving dome limp PC liberala BJ. Ha Ha Ha.

My ex-housemate is going to berlin next month for a month long Intensiv language class at the Goethe Institut.
Have you been, or is it your first time?

Emperor1956 -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 2:58:20 PM)

I actually don't feel 51.  There are things in my head that seem to click back to 17 - 25 - 35 - etc.  I love it when my peers talk about being "middle aged" -- how many 102 year old men do YOU see walking around?   On the other hand I'm happier at 51 than I have been in a long time.  And thank God, finally, healthier.

The recipe for all this isn't easy.  As best as I can tell it includes the love of one strong, loving woman who is bound to you (and you bound to her)*;  loving children who are strong and smart and healthy; good friends; and a career you really like, and rewards you well; it also includes, sadly, losses of deeply loved siblings and friends (so you treasure those who are still here), and having been really really ill for a long time, and getting better (so you know what its like).

E.

Well Happy Birthday Windchymes!!!
No, colonoscopies aren't all that bad.
The worst part is having to drink all that "Kool-Ade" the day before and going to the bathroom 30 times.
The procedure itself is nothing, it takes about 30 minutes and you're done.

Rule -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:23:05 PM)

I am fifty, and feel both as old as the universe and as young as the new kid on the block. Not healthy, though, nor in good shape. Think I had a heart attack when I was seventeen. Going for a 90-100 kilometer ride on my bike tomorrow to visit my relatives - and will be completely exhausted when done. Erections do not last several hours any more either.

pahunkboy -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:28:23 PM)

with me the sex drive faded which is fine- i get in less trouble.

seeksfemslave -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:45:24 PM)

I recommend every one get a bike a la Rule and ride it regularly.
It will do you the world of good so long as you dont get run down by a car.

CraZYWiLLiE -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:46:06 PM)

I am pushin 50 and my mind is about 19, and my body feels 70 sometimes.
My sex drive is high too, and I usually get to push myself on occasion.
Can hardly wait for that colonoscopy by the VA Dr's...ouch

AMaster -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:48:08 PM)

lusciouslips19 -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:49:01 PM)

I have been feeling my age because I havent been sleeping much. maybe 5 hours a night. Maybe due to perimenapause.I'm 46 on the 20th and still hot as hell.

Can't be much worse than a cuntoscopy.

RealityLicks -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:56:23 PM)

I never feel my age, although there are times when I hear a record or see a television programme from my childhood and I can't really picture how it could actually be thirty years ago or whatever.  As a kid, I actually believed I'd be dead by now - being 40 seemed plenty of time to do all I wanted to but maybe I won't get to leave that beautiful corpse after all.  Unless It's someone else's.

metalmiss -> RE: Do you "feel" your age? (4/10/2008 4:56:35 PM)

i actually quite often feel about 6 or 7.. *blushes*
But most of the time i probably act more like i'm in my mid-30's.. Not bad for a 23 year old huh?!?!?

That used to be a line I frequently uttered... in my yoof, but it's funny how my youthful morbidity kind of vanished with the advancing years [:D] .
