I have long considered the term Master to be a way of indicating a degree of willingness to accept more responsibility then a Dominant would. To that end, I am a Dominant that desires to participate in negotiated PE with others. I am interested to know if Aanyone has experienced the feelings of self doubt when faced with the submissive that asks for more then We have previously vounteered to control in another's life. It came as a shock to Me to face it, and i still have issues with the idea. How much is too much? A Dominant that has control over every decision short of recognised legal practice is different from the Master how? I am asking All, as this question has perplexed me for some time. Perhaps this should in reality be a different thread, but it seemed to fit here. To wit, where does the Dominant end and the Master begin?

This thread is another example of the same question asked in a different way in an attempt to get the same answers. It seems as a consensous, the people who have been in and around the lifestyle for a period of time, are past needing labels to describe the dynamic in their own relationship. Don't get caught up in the labels, get caught up in what makes you good at what you choose to be!

Hmm, while I love discussions, debates and outright fur-flying arguments on the sematics associated with WIITWD, I think the answer to the original post is pretty simple. Tongue firmly planted in cheek Please feel free to dispense the following words of wisdom freely throughout your respective domains as the final adjudication of the proper usage of the aforementioned terminology. As a person with dominant personality traits I successfully sought out a person with submissive personality traits to serve me in my household. Once I acquired this submissive person, who accepted me as the righful master of my household and all within it, including her, I began training her as to the specific ways I wished her to serve me. As she is a highly motivated servant, she slaves away at her tasks daily, rarely requiring correction. I hope this helps ensure that everyone is now in complete and utter agreement as to what is the proper usage for these terms.
