how many people were hit as children and then their parents would say "would like another one?" or "how about more of the same" or my favourite "You asked for that" everytime i heard that my immediate and smart ass reply was. "i dont remember coming down the stairs and asking for that" if you could turn back time what would say?

darch you gave me a chuckle there. You do spank kids no matter what the "law" says, but you don't beat them, whip them or anything like that, and a reasonable person will reserve any form of coropal punishment for the very few important things, playing with the stove or matches, running out in traffic and almost getting killed, things like that, not spilt milk. Now I just pictured a Mom swatting her kid on the ass for say running out in the street without looking and imagined the kid saying "Mom, this is not consentual". Now imagine a kinky Mom thinking to herself 'Hmm, just how much does the kid know?". I suspect this is going to be a twisted Friday. T

My mother never hit me - but once, on my 7th birthday I brought down the bathroom sink by standing on it to look in the mirror at my new necklace....I heard my father coming upstairs three at a time and rushed to the landing. He spanked me so hard I fell down the stairs and put my hand through the front door glass. How wonderful to hear my father getting the rough end of my mother's tongue for hitting me (ever) and especially on my birthday.....it didnt even hurt...lol and that wass the first and last time he dared raise a hand to me. Job Jobbed, as they say!

My mom always tries now adays to use the whole look at you kids, you were spanked and you turned out ok, and I always tell her no we didn't. Meh, I got the crap kicked out of me all the time when I was younger, and I'm fine. The relationship I have with my parents is pretty decent as well. What's worse than spanking your kid? Those little rotten brats that run screaming around the store, while the mother asks them repeatedly if they would "Like a time out"

I was spanked as a child and I am fine. I love my parents with all my heart. The people I see now that weren't spanked as a kid at least in my neck of the woods are in jail most of the time and are just a rotten sort of bunch. I see kids running around doing things that could get them killed and I hear their parents yell at them but never punish them...what good does that do? There is a line between disipline and abuse....a fine line and my parents never crossed it. Edited for very bad grammer.
