Ok, here's more from a friend of mine who is very into latex: ---> Here is my experience/opinions: (Because these are items of personal craftmanship, these recommendations can change, as the product is much more dependant on the actual craftsperson than the company that makes them -- also there's a lot of fluctuation in price due to raw latex availability (there's been a blight problem in the past 2 years) and currency exchange). I assume that he really wants to get something good -- there are cheap moulded latex catsuits available on e-Bay, which will develop tears after 1-2 uses. Unless you want something disposable, those should be avoided. Avoid rubbawear and playwear. If he is low on funds and wants a starter, Reactor Rubberwear (formerly called Kaisers) in Australia has the best prices (but only average quality latex (it tends to stick to itself more than other latices). In the US, House of Whacks makes a very good one at a reasonable price for the item (watch e-Bay -- they often have very good prices if you are lucky). IMHO, the best construction (especially for heavy catsuits) are made by Cocoon (www.cocoon1.com), but you do pay for the quality (and the currency exchange will really get you right now), and they usually take 5-6 weeks. If you can, always pay the extra 20-30% for custom fitting -- it is definitely worth it. <--- For more on "Care and Feeding of your Fetish Wardrobe: LATEX!" click here: http://www.baileythorne.com/latex This is a presentation the fellow above put together for the local community. I host it on my site. --bailey (no, really, latex isn't high on my list of kinks... I just have great friends.)
