You could also try witchhazel pads if they work for childbirth they should work for that

Yeah, the hand salve does not have aloe. The comfrey in it helps a lot. I'm glad you posted about the honey and cocoa butter suggestions. You beat me to it. I wonder if sitting in a cool bath with sea salt or epsom salt would also help?

Hi, stuff happens, even to smart people, I suggest if someone already hasn't, that you go gently to your walgreens or whatever store you have closest to you and buy some Nupercainal, it will numb the spot and not hurt you, will also promote fast healing. Best of luck to you, Master Robert

Lavender oil, maybe plain yogurt, unsweetened iced tea.. Next time-if you're brave enough !- use a finger or Q-tip to put vaseline where you DON'T want nair- works like a charm. Make sure you don't miss any places, vagina is one, ass is another one to consider- ouch !

Yes, I've experienced Nair burn- never again. Had a goofball "Dom" recently tell me that it wouldn't hurt- I already knew he was wrong. Maybe he should do his balls- I've heard that is pure insane misery !

Slavetobob, what an excellent idea regarding the vaseline for the truly pink bits(thankyou), Ive had my own nightmare with nair Camille, so im feelin your pain, altho the sadist in me is making me smile, it is not a good owie. I used neosporin at night, but kept nekid and dry during the day(gawd it hurts to pee if you dont position yourself properly too). Nair is not recommended for the danglie parts on men, grins, that hurts like the dickens so Im told. gotta be really careful with the timing. Well I made an oatmeal paste, I used some Neosporin type stuff and I've stayed naked from the waist down.Jeez. First that awful Epi-hell now Nair-hell.Yup chelle you are not alone! I've met several aloe-allergic people despite others saying it is impossible to react to. The vaseline tip is fantastic!! Thank you thank you Slave2Bob so much, that is going to be remembered for future (yeah I will be dumb enough to try this again.. ouch its hot. ouch its hot. ouch its hot is my middle name) usage. Dang I am so glad I have a place where I can ask my weirdo questions and not be laughed at (much).

A cool bath with some baking soda in the water also soothes irritated skin. You could probably find the recipe/mix with a quick browser search. (Mom used that when I had chicken pox as a small person)

This thread makes me so glad that Nair never worked for me when I tried it on my legs... using it on the pussy sounds like a nightmare. It sounds like you've had a lot of good suggestions for things to try. If you're still in any pain you might want to try something like vagasil. It has a numbing agent to help with the ouch factor, helps things heal, is formulated to go on the pussy area, and I don't think it has aloe in it. I use it when I've got shave rash or I'm starting to get friction burns.

Not only makes ya giggle, but also makes ya wish OB's post came with a video clip! Whatever happened to plain old calamine lotion for burns? oh Camillle, I just woke up to your post and now Im giggling at the visual you posed, who needs a video, that was wonderful and I got a flashback to when it happened to me, its funny now but back then , omgawwwwwd I can totally relate. Hugs sweet Lucy I do know that folks here care, that is why I can expose myself without much worry be it something (almost) amusing to needing genuine heartfelt advice. So many say there is no community, but I disagree.
