For you, I have the utmost sympathy. Us women have all been 'there'... Noooo, I'm not talking about Ernie's gold top (for those Brits that would appreciate a mention of the fastest milkfloat in the west... Lucy, stop touching yourself!) - that really wasn't the kind of soothing cream to which I was referring, darnit!

I posted this on another site with regard to the use of depilation creams, Camille:

Having very sensitive skin, I find that the 'off the shelf' cream products burn and leave a red soreness that lasts for a couple of days. My boy was researching hair removal products some months ago and came across a powder called 'Magic'which was originally designed to relieve facial razor burn/bumps in black men, however, I have found this works extremely well on other parts of the body such as legs/pubic hair provided the hair isn't too long prior to applying it once made up and no after-burn/rash.

Edited to add that the mixture works extremely well on my boy who's naturally very hairy and if it works well on him, it'll work on just about anyone provided they clip the hair to acceptable length prior to application.
---------

I can appreciate Old Bastardly's endeavours to shave the boys, however, it was such a waste of a perfectly good opportunity for someone, such as myself, to offer my services... Afterall, if a person's going to bleed, might as well be at the hand of someone who is experienced at making people bleed. I would even apply, most liberally, freshly squeezed lemon juice to clean said cuts. Hygiene is everything, people! Whilst talking about squeezing things... multiply by four, then drip dry!

While we feel your pain, Camille, we would feel Old Bastardly's even more so.

Have a lovely time with your Dom x

Looocee, if you make it to Brightonia, we're going to have to rip oop tha toon!

Ahhhh the memories.  A couple of years ago I had the bright idea to go smooth by chemical cream as well.  I didn't even get it on the pink wet bits, but it still burned me.  Adventures in "krispy kitty" was soooo NOT fun.  I think it took about 5 days for mine to clear up. I can't remember if any one particular thing worked, but I'm sure I tried everything in my cupboard.  When all else fails, I go back to good old neosporin.

As a preventative, I have used thick layer Vaseline on tender areas close to the depilatory zoneā€¦  technique developed especial for those with hair on their derriere.

~fast reply~

~horrified for Camille but laughing in remembrance of her own stupidly chemically-burned bits~

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh gawd. I'm sorry about that. There is absolutely nothing to do. Ouch! (Tell him the story if it seems like he's going to be seeing it - it'll be a good laugh.)

what about something like aveeno or just make an oatmeal paste?  i got a few chemical burns at work and oatmeal at least took some of the sting out...worth a try anyway.

Geez, Christine, I thought FOR SURE you'd recommend putting either chocolate/or KFC gravy on the "area" :))

wtf is up with me and hair removal problems?

when this slave was younger she didn't understand why her skin wouldn't tan like the other kids...come to find out, it isn't supposed to, it doesn't have the pigment necessary.
apparently, this slave has similar issues with hair removal.  her hairs are actually something that is supposed to be there, since she managed to get past puberty.  scraping it off with a sharp blade or burning it off with chemicals is NOT natural...and something that this slave's extrememly sensitive skin doesn't respond to favorably. it isn't impossible, like tanning, but it sure is wrought with difficulties.

she has tried every cream, lotion and specialty razor that money can buy and her skin is still hypersensitive to ALL of it, even after years and years of alleged "toughening up".

personally, this slave believes that the discomfort, the rashes, chemical burns, razor burns, ingrown hairs, etc. is ALL part of the sadistic pleasure that Master gets from ordering His slave to shave/remove unwanted hairs from particular places... completely besides the fact that He prefers a smooth pussy to a hairy one.

this slave had never shaved her delicate parts for anyone, before Him---it was always a hard limit that would not be crossed...so it is strictly for His pleasure (aside from the pleasure this slave gets from pleasing Him) that she goes through with it now.

not if you happen to be allergic or have a negative reaction to salicylates.

the salicylic acid in the Carmex has caused a burn to this slave's lips(the ones on her face)similar to the burn camille is already experiencing.

Hi, stuff happens, even to smart people, I suggest if someone already hasn't, that you go gently to your walgreens or whatever store you have closest to you and buy some Nupercainal, it will numb the spot and not hurt you, will also promote fast healing. Best of luck to you, Master Robert

I agree with piperpilot..  Nupercaine ointment.. It is sold in a tube for hemmorhoid relief and the active ingredient is DIBUCAINE 1%..  As far as I know, that is the strongest concentration and most effective numbing agent available over the counter....

Apply it liberally and often, like diaper creme..  It will give you much needed relief while your burn heals...

Yeah okay so this is what happened. In my frenzy to look luverly for my dom on Monday (yay yay yay) I got a wee bit to close (definitely too close) to those bits that Nair explicitly warns about. Somehow while applying it to the bikini zone (I don't even wear those damn things) in the shower (which means w/o glasses..blindly) I must have also dabbed a bit right outside my vaginal opening. Not knowing I'd done that moronic movement, I remained squatting in the shower for the required 6 minutes before rinsing off. Ouch. Jaysus serious ouch that I didn't feel until hours later. Of course I hopped into the shower again but it was too late. I've a reddened and seriously ouchie spot now. Is there anything that will soothe it?  Finally............. wtf is up with me and hair removal problems?Maybe I should just be a hairy chick..

If it hasn't been suggested yet....

Diaper Cream. Trust me it works.

I use moisturizer for the face with a few drops of medical grade Tea Tree Oil mixed in to the botttle.  Tea Tree is really good for the skin.  It may sting for a few seconds before it starts to sooth.  It'll also help with redness.

Camille... the next time you want to shave that area or the area around look for something called bikini zone.. Anti Bumps Shaving gel... i bought mine at target .. and it works... it might not help with the current problem but in the future it might help and it wont burn ... it rocks

but check the label to  make sure there is no aloe in it if you are allergic to it :)

You poor thing.  I remember when you tried the epilady.  roflmao  Not funny to you, I know, but we can all relate.  It's kinda trial and error until you find what works for you.
I have very sensitive skin but really like the smooth look and feel.  I use the Anti Bumps Shaving Gel already mentioned followed by a liberal dabbing of witch hazel.  No moisterizers until the next day or I get ingrown hairs.  Damn those things to hell!  Majik doesn't work for me although I know it does for others.
In my early days, some guy (dom? sub? can't remember) told me that he just smeared Nair on his genitals, waited the appropriate time, and then jumped into the shower.  (The jump part I believe!) I had used the product on my legs before and was extremely doubtful.  He claimed his skin "toughened up" over time.  Fortunatley, I didn't fall for it.  I'm guessing he was either a sub who had a really, really high pain tolerance or a dom who wanted me to have one.  Ouch!

If it was me I would of stuck to my guns and refused. I would not do things ot my vagina that I KNEW would hurt, despite what he said. and if I looked un subbly oh well, it wasn't their tender bits being hurt it was mine.

Yes, I've experienced Nair burn- never again. Had a goofball  "Dom" recently tell me that it wouldn't hurt- I already knew he was wrong. Maybe he should do his balls- I've heard that is pure insane misery !

DO NOT tell your Master about this!  He could make your meeting VERY interesting...
...

Hope I've caught you before you leave Camille.

Try another tack (it'd so work for me if you came to me all hurting); go for the sympathy vote from Him and get him to kiss it better. A lot. I mean seriously a lot. Let him know that when he gently runs his soft tongue over the sore area (and "yes, please, over a bit - down a bit - ooooh - back up again") it brings out the most powerful feelings of deep affection and submission etc etc.

It's not a master's job just to beat the shit out of a sub all the time - there's care in the ownership thing.
