Nika I felt the same way. I've always seen recently divorced people going a bit nuts, bar hopping and bed hopping which made me feel like an utter freak. After being married for so long I just did not want casual sex, hell that was the rare sex during marriage!

Once 15 months and then 13 months. Most of my married life was lived in celibacy. The life of a cloistered nun must have seen more action than mine. The fact that we had 2 kids together just means that in 13 years, we had sex twice. grumble

After my husband died, I went to ground for about 7 years. It was a combination of not wanting anyone else, being sick for quite a while, being in an area for work that I didn't want to get involved with someone, and wanting only sex that was emotionally connected. All in all, I retreated from the world and sex fell to the wayside. MSS

(fast reply) 5 years, followed by 2 years of occasional whoopee (I was a full-time student), and 4.5 years. I was climbing the walls at the 4 year points, even looking lustfully at married (horrors!) coworkers (even worse!)
