OrionTheWolf -> RE: Whom do you think will be our next President? (5/10/2008 10:53:02 AM)

Likely McCain as he is more electable. He is not extreme right wing, and pulls a large portion of the moderate and independent voters that this is not their first time voting. Obama seems to have an attraction/charm about him because of his ignorance, meaning he has not established exactly how he will deal with some of the major problems, except in generalities and using catch phrases. Obama in very left, so has a more narrow base, and is more diverse in the people that are attracted to him. I do not like seeing a presidency under either one of them, but I see McCain as the lesser of two evils, but not enough to vote for him. I am focusing on my votes for congress and the Senate, as that is where I see a general shift of power going to, but only if the two sides do more compromise and bi-partisan deals. You know if Thomas Jefferson or Ben Franklin were around today, they would be dismissed out of hand as unrealstic nut jobs. The American people vote that rude fucker from American Idol (I watch so little television I cannot remember the idiots name).
