This is what i do: i go to the manufacturer's web site for the new drug, look around, and find the section for "Medical Professionals". It takes me a long time to read the page, because i have to google so much medical jargon, but this is where the manufacturer explains how many studies were done, what side effects and adverse reactions were found, and in what percentage of test subjects. This information is far superior to what manufaturers put on those printed materials they send to pharmacists. This is where you'll find out that some adverse events included things like death, blindness, weight gain, kidney failure and so forth. This gives you a much better basis for a decision. Frankly, i won't take any drug that might cause death, never mind blindness or weight gain. pinksugarsub
