What is real? What is true? Are you real because you know how to give or take pain? Are you real because you know how to give or show proper respect? Are you real because you've seen how "they" do it and know that because of their methods, they aren't real? Are you real because someone said you are? Are you more real because someone you like or love said you were a true (add title here)? Are you real because of all the books and websites that you have read?

What motivates you? What do you love? What do you hate? What is in you that you don't want to live without? What do you live with that you can't stand? What is hilarious? What is in bad taste to you? What secrets do you hold that no one could possibly understand or accept? What do you stand for?

Who are you and what do you need to live (and not simply survive)?

Z

Hello There,
Who I am and why I'm here has nothing to do with anyone else it comes from inside me. I am real as I don't feel a need to be fake to be myself & I say what I think and feel not what you want to hear.
I choose not to manipulate others to accept my opinion of me, and can be comfortable on my path I choose to walk regardless of others agreeing with it or not.
I don't gauge what I feel is my path based on what others do or what they think about my path.
I do read, go to presentations and pay attention to others styles, as I want to be sure I fully allow myself an education in finding my own path, but it's not a keep up with the Jones's thing for me.
What's true to me is as my Masters full slave I am more at peace, free and content that I've ever been in my life.
What drives and motivates me is a need to serve to feel whole and complete.
I love my Master & my life.
I hate people that try to assume their path is the only right one for everyone.
I live with the narrow minded people with bad taste that are mixed in with the open minded ones who worry more about their own choices that they do about others choices.
I have no secrets, as the truth and knowledge are the keys to freedom for me and I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve done as I try to live my life with compassion and integrity.
Sincerely,
sub suzanne

I'm not real. I am the product of your imagination. I exist in the mind of many people who, for various reasons, are all lead to believing I really exist. The illusion is so perfect I sometimes even believe myself that I am real. Don't be fooled, I'm not. You know what to think now, but remember : there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path. Now do you want to take the blue pill or the red pill ? This is your last chance.

La vida es un sueño y los sueños, sueños son.

This is so perfect answer I have nothing to add.

From her statement here she also assumes to be more evolved than about 80% of the population.
Only simple minds feel the world has to agree with them. As we grow and age we realize that just isn't the pathway to happiness.

As far as the original question goes. I am real to me, I am real to my dom. That is all that matter's in my world.

I don't know whether people would call me 'real' and to be honest, I couldn't care less.

I'm real, because I exist. That's pretty much the entire gist of it. I'm a real sweetheart. I'm a real bitch. I'm a real pain in the ass. I'm a real lover. I'm a real woman. I'm a real insertanythingyouwanttoinsertinthisspacecauseI'mprobablyit.

I don't hold myself to someone else's standards, unless those standards happen to belong to my Master. I don't hold anyone else to MY standards, unless that someone else happens to be my property. I don't look at someone else and think they're less "real" than I am because they do not do the things I do. I DO, however, observe people and will think negatively of them if I see their motives as anything less than honorable. Intentions, not actions, are what makes one "real" or not.

These are all personal questions, which I would say are either answered in profiles, or discussed when getting to know someone well. Can You answer all these questions?

Wow, that’s a lot of questions. By real, do you mean how I see myself in the BDSM lifestyle? I’m just Pita and she is a constant work in progress.

What motivates you? ~ The love of my Sir and his belief that I really can be someone I can be proud of.

What do you love? ~I love my God, my Sir, my child, my family and friends and I try to love the world in a “love thy neighbor” kind of way. Although, some can really push my limits.

What do you hate? ~ Injustice, liars, and evil. I think we should all mind our own business, get along and do what is right. Children should be loved and protected; the elderly should be honored and respected; and everyone should be allowed to follow their bliss as long as they don’t hurt people in the process.

What is in you that you don't want to live without? ~Love and acceptance. I went way to many years not having those two things in the way I needed them. I don’t ever want to go back to the person I was. I got a long ways to go but I sure like the direction I’m heading.

What is hilarious? ~To many things to list. Laughing is one of my favorite things to do.

What is in bad taste to you? ~Besides putting fruit inside of Jell-O? I find pushy and rude people to be in bad taste.

What secrets do you hold that no one could possibly understand or accept? ~ Like I’m going to tell you all! I do believe that I could tell my Dom anything and he would at least try to understand. It’s very comforting to know I have that kind of love and support in my life now.

What do you stand for? ~Well, sometimes my butt gets tired with all this sitting I do. Sorry, couldn’t resist!

Hello sub4hire,
Maybe I'm not reading what you said correctly but, I don't assume to be anything but true to myself. I'm not sure how you twisted what I said to the point you thought I think I'm better than anyone. We all have strength and weaknesses. I'm just more concerned about finding my place rather than trying to be like, or change someone else.
Sincerely,
sub suzanne

I am aware of what you said. I can read very well. I was merely making a point on what you happened to say. Also putting some knowledge about human nature behind it.
Most people are not evolved enough to allow things to bounce off of them without having to try to get the world to believe things the way they see them. It is refreshing to see a person who is stable enough in who they are that they do not care.

I feel that I must make both an apology to the board and give an explaination.

I apologize that I may have misled some of you with the style of writing that I used to make my point. After having several discussions with my SO, D, I chose a left-handed way to sum up some of the points of those conversations, in essence, using questions.

As I wrote to a person here on the board, as long as one is not violating someone's freedoms, beliefs, or property (that is without their permission), there is no specific, right way to live life. Hence, "real" and "true" are in the eye of the beholder. To put it in the context of another who replied to the original message: "There is no spoon. Then you'll see that it's not the spoon that bends, only yourself." (I Love "The Matrix philosophy!)

Again, I apologize with gusto if I misled anyone with the way that I wrote my original post. I will endevour to be less "dramatic" in the future.

Be well everyone!

Z

I cannot see any of those assumptions either. She didnt consider herself being evolved or anything, just having her opinions regardless to others. And I found nowhere she feels the world has to agree with her - just the opposite, she goes her way no matters what world thinks of her.

In fact I find her thinking mature and actually more evolved than many I heard so far.

I agree with bolded text totally. And I dont see any need for apologies. Although you did mislead people in seriously answering your questions
