Close -- Gottfried of Bouillon was one of the first over the wall during the First Crusade.  There were arguably nine crusades (excluding what may be seen as the present one) but several were so badly organized or fell so close in time to others that it might be considered to be as few as six.

(This is not addressed to you, Justme696)  It's sad when all of the knowledge some people have about history is from watching Hollywood films.  Unfortunately, it's all too true today

He was born in Oxford, and his father was King of England  . But yes, as I said, bloodlines were very mixed up then. I take issue with this, because I feel Richard's plight. I share much of his national confusion lol.
