MsStarlett Maam, keep your head up, it will be ok. There are plenty of us out there that are great diamonds in the rough.
i'm one of those submissives that merely needs a bit of polishing to be a great submissive. i was at one time "a most delightful submissive" according to my Domina. She passed away nearly 11 years ago though, and until recently i have had a hard time letting go. It's been so long since i've been allowed to kneel before a Goddess, that i'm one of the ones that will need some TLC and training. But that's ok, i'm sure there is someone out there for me that will be what i need, and i can be hers.
i'm a strange one in that i can happily live in a monogamous relationship every bit as well as a poly relationship. i guess i'm just open to whatever the universe has set in my path, and hopeful that the right Domina will come along, scoop me up, and mold me into a work of art. :)

First of all, why don't -you- go out and just "be"?, that way, when the submissives you're talking about message you, you'll have -plenty- to talk about and keep em busy :).

The other thing is you should console yourself (like I do) that the good ones are taken means I've clearly got great taste. At the end of the day, just because "this one" or "that one" is taken, doesn't mean they're all taken, or in fact that the one who's taken today will still be taken tomorrow, so get yourself out and about and interacting with as many fellow kinksters as you can-you'll up your chances of meeting someone.

Oh... I have plenty to keep me busy. I'm just a control freak. (DUH!) It pisses me off when my boys don't behave correctly. (Big Surprise!)

And Mr.*Poof* did send me a message on the day he deleted his account. He just sent it an email account that I do not check often. Because he did try to notify me that he was having problems... I will consider forgiving him... after a suitable time.

And then there are the "not so good ones" that are taken. Like me...

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful Domme that puts up with me and all my flaws. I will vouch for her as being perfect, though I doubt she would call herself that.

Anyway...

Sometimes I think people look for too much in others...there are no perfect people thus no perfect matches. But there are plenty of good people that could be happy together.

Yep, sure is when we don't find what we want or cant get it we tend to find excuses for everything.. What about the trillion, millions of people that are left behind and breaking up from relationships everyday, do they feel the same way?

Okay sometimes it might seem like all the good Mistresses or good slaves are taken, but there's always more coming around the corner. I got a email from a guy today that is really close to what I'm looking to own, so see there's hope in new ones. ;)

well, you should feel lucky that you have found four, which means those ppl----well matched with you actually exist. so the second step is to change your way of approaching to catch them. it should be fun ;)

besides, you can either keep looking until you find the "perfect one" or enjoy getting pleasure from the "interesting ones".

jeez louise, i actually work for a couple weeks and ya'll just go hades... Ma'am, this is what bois say about Dommes all the time, including me, all the good ones are taken. Many Domme friends, but none that own me. Sweethearts to the last lash, all of Them.

Ok. All kidding aside, I do know what you mean. Over the last few weeks, I started, what I thought was, at minimum, an interesting email exchange with some interesting people. All of a sudden, the communications stops, and it fizzles out. Sometimes, you just have to cut your losses.

This sounds very familiar-I -loathe- not getting replies lol, but, I've been online for years and I've kind of come to the conclusion that that's just the way it goes.

As for people just vanishing into thin air, had that too, over and over; people are eager to talk to Y/you one minute, then when you try to talk to them they vanish, and then Y/you find Yourself talking to them less and less until they just don't show up anymore, I suppose it's cynical but I kind of expect it now and I'm mentally prepared to move on to the next brand spanking (no pun intended) friendship.

This is the best board to subscribe to. i'm way late responding to this one, it doesn't look any better from this side, Ma'am. Not all the 'Good Ones' are taken, but they are getting harder & harder to find, and not always 'geographically compatible', as they say.

Things have perked up a bit for me lately, but it appears that another relocation may be required. Well, as long as i keep moving in a westerly direction......

Just one piece of advce, when they 'drift' they really don't know themselves, as subs. They are still exploring & flirting with it. And it *is* the ones with 'real' lives that You want to get involved with. The ones with real lives that have integrated their submission into their personalities. The tough part.

Stay with it. i'm still looking for Ma'am & hoping for happiness. It's never too late.
