Having lived in a swanky lake gated community with huge house on minature lots.....he ain't missin anything.  Besides despite that gate, half the time we lived there is was wide open.

About anything you have to do has to be approved by the community politicians. If the grass gets more than a half inch high, you got a community ticket.  Just stupid crazyness. Its a dictatorship.

Im with you gimme wide open country.

Now mind you Im not dishing the lake side.....it was so close to the house you could practically toss a line from the balcony.

Im a country girl but ended up lost in the city.

The Loudone has already seen animals being born, has seen the devotion of the mother to the newborn, and already has a deep love of nature He knows the satisfaction of going to the garden and picking the veggies for dinner (he holds them up in one pudgy hand and bellows "I growed dis!!"). I would not have it any other way

Holly its taken you this long to figure out I'm crazy?  Honie I a certified USDA grade. And I have a certificate to prove it.

I miss sitting on the back porch when a good wicked Texas storm came through and watching it let out its fury.
Where I am with all the tall buildings surround us, I at best can see about a foot of sky from the Apt.
I hate garbage day, when the view outside is disgusting piles of trash taller than me.
I cant remember the last time I saw grass.

How do people like being city dwellers.  I just ended up here by default.

Status: offline 		I'm a country girl too.....I hate the city....and those "communities".....they are the pits!!!!!  you can do this, can't do that, the houses are so close together you can touch the one next door by just opening a window, and they are so poorly constructed that you can hear your neighbor fart!  I'm sorry, but if I'm buying a house, then I'll damn well do what I please.....I feed birds, have two feeders ot for hummers right now, and you can't have them there. 

Jim would hate losing his space and rights after having lived out in the sticks......unfortunately, there's no way to show him that unless he actually lived in one fo those places for about 3 months.....good luck on finding a place, Holly~
