So about this-here-new-fangled-Kindle-thingy-ma-bober, how delicate is it and is the screen large enough to not strain your eyes?

I would search Amazon's site for Kindle books. It's a pretty primitive search tool, so use the author or title as a search term. For instance, I found nothing by Jennifer Roberson in there, and only the most recent stuff by Mercedes Lackey.

The screen's a nice size, and you can adjust the font size if you want. What's a little weird is that I'll read for a long time barely moving a muscle...then wonder why my neck pops when I start moving! I'm really liking it.

I figure that I'll need a cover (it should get here Saturday) because I usually use a backpack when I'm traveling. I'm worried about the screen more than anything else; I don't want to ding it. The back shell looks pretty robust.

lol...this morning he wanted lima beans, and was rather upset when i told him we didn't have any. He actually pointed a pudgy finger to the door and said "Go to da go-see tore". I had no intention of going to the grocery store at 4am and told him so. Then the fight began
