hm. saturday started out relaxing. even made it through early afternoon relaxed.

the bridal shop to pick up b/maid dress and the computer shop to sort out netbook. not so relaxed.

tell me, is it true that they size dresses smaller to make sure you have to have them fitted upon receiving? cause i'm REALLY unimpressed with this shop.

i have heard that the gowns run a size or two smaller...but when i was trying on gowns for a friends wedding there were all pretty true to size. I would not doubt it that they want the alteration fee.

sigh. so far, the only saving grace is that most of the b/maids may encounter the same problem. they're all big bosomed, and run biggish anyways. as it stands, our option right now is to remove the zipper, make it a lace up back and put in a modesty panel. i know at least ONE of the b/maids is going to have huge troubles as she's exceedingly well endowed.

i'm also on the lookout for either long shawls for the girls or finding similar dress weight material and make up long scarves with a pretty fringe or beaded fringe.

in my spare time.

nope. two of the girls are far far north, one in between and the kidlet here. there's a seamstress next house over. we're going to see if she can do it, but failing that we also have an appt at the bridal boutique as well in a fortnight.

i've farwarned eldest kidlet of the problems we've found, she can pass them on.
