So.....the LoudOne decided to do the male right of passage thing and climb one of the oak trees we have. This left me standing on a three inch wide branch as i sneezed my head off.

i would shake my head along with you, but it might activate the concussion again

I'm doing great!!!!!  I am taking a break from walking through the car show:
fallharvestcarshow.org or fortmorganfallharvestcarshow.org

sitting here having an ice tea...then it's back out to the car show to make my way to the food court where turkey legs are to be found.

I could live with the turkey legs.  Is there funnel cakes to be found?  Because funnel cake is the only way that you are going to get me to a car show!

Yes, Alluring One...there are indeed funnel cakes to be found AND by the by, at the Methodist Church across from the Library, homemade pie and ice cream are to be found.

***Yes, I do know how to make them, but they are so unhealthy that I prefer to only get them when I go to a "fair" type enviornment.  However it has been over 6 years since my last funnel cake so I may just break down and make some.  ****

Status: offline 		Hey all...back from Florida....and I think I'm about to join the group of under the weather CM'ers......woke up with a sore throat, and of course, was surrounded by hackers, coughers, sneezers and spewers on the flight out and back....GOD...I HATE FLYING!!!!!!!  Either that, or the weather got me...which sucks, cuz I'm not even there yet permanently!!!!  I haven't had a sinus infection since I moved out the the desert....another thing about the weather that I haven't missed.

Monday...ok, maybe Tuesday....is the big day.....I'll be spending the next two days getting the rest of my stuff packed...not much left actually...it's just the end of packing odds and ends stuff.  Fortunately, the place has all tile floors, so cleaning it up will be a snap.

As for the interview, well, I am not sure how I feel about it....I had sort of memorized the questions they had asked from the past interviews and took down great notes....which is fair...they give you the questions first, give you 10 minutes to take notes, then do the interview.  So, anyway, I had all these awesome answers.....and the bastidges CHANGED THE QUESTIONS....!!!!!!  At least I didn't blurt anything out like "HEY!!!!  I want the other ones!!!!"  They were ok questions, but really not in line with the job that dispatchers do.  So, I did my best...they wouldn't tell us how many positions that they were hiring for, but they did say more than one.  Still waiting to hear ANYTHING from the Avition Authority, and I have an interview in Tampa at the end of the month.  I'm hpoing on one of those coming thru for me.

Status: offline 		And Holly......why in God's name would you go UP in a tree?????  The LO would've been fine.....he's not the family klutz......he can cross a freshly mopped floor and not trip on air......you seem to trip standing still!

Celeste.....mmmmmm...apple pie......it's that time of year in your neck of the woods, isn't it?  All those lovely apples on the trees just waiting to be picked and made into cobbler, applesauce, pies..........mmmmmmmm........warm out of the oven.......caramel drizzled in the apple pies is great!!!!!  Scuze me for a minit.....I need some alone time!!!! *drooooooool*

Made 8 jars of peach jam yesterday. Need to make apple butter and applesauce.
Made an apple cake today.

Am eying a way overpriced attachment for the Kitchenaid mixer that will strain the apple skins out. I really hate the food mill with a passion.
