i'm giving myself shots now - all by myself in my subcutaneous tissue (tummy fat) - to help build white blood cells.
 
It's real nice having the port for IVs, though.  Do you ever run across patients with ports?  Saves finding a vein!

FLUFFY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The morning sickness seems to happen more in the afternoon and evenings. Very sensitive to smells especially. I used to have a candle burning all the time but those days are gone.

Now...how are you feeling?

Yes, several pt's have had ports especially those in rehab/or nursing homes.

Neupogen injections? It is a wonder drug, as is it's sister, Epogen for the red cells.

As to the port...my mom had one when she was undergoing chemo. It was a Godsend for her...

Holly , it's called Leukine (Sargramostim).
 
Is that the same thing?

(Just the first 10 days after each round of chemo.)

the same results, Fluffy...increasing the white count. I don't know too much about it other than it has few, if any, side effects [:)]
