Why do I continue to eat things with GRAVY even though my stomach does not accept it as a food? Oh, because it's a BEVERAGE! (thank you, Paul Lynde!) Zantac, make sure you always have it in the house, just saying... [8|]
I got off the plane in DC and it was HOT. Like, AFRICA hot. I thought, coming from 40 and rain that it was 70 at least. Turns out it was 90! So I feel a teeeeny bit justified that I was all sweaty, AND got a sunburn. Here at home, it is socked in clouds, 50, and rainy. If ANY newsreader says diddly about "low lake levels" this summer, I am personally going to go [sm=tongue.gif] at him or her.
So, howsit? I am gearing up for not very much of anything, and an Ikea field trip. My plan is to RECLAIM the Mystery Guest Room for my personal 100% use, which means getting rid of the twin bed and putting in bookcases and getting this rad folding worktable. This plan may or may not come to pass, it all Depends on Many Factors. In the meantime, I am webbing through Ikea's site and finding things I do not need, like decorative pillows and fleecy blankets.
Oh, and mom did NOT break her hand during the Car Window Incident. [8|] She merely bruised the nerve path...which takes longer to heal than a break, and yes, it's on the bad hand. Evidently she was trying to throw something out the car window while it was rolling up? I dunno, this sounds like a Holly thing, maybe ask her...
