Greetings everyone... I am finally getting more successful in working on my dissertation, found pretty good material and spend all day tomorrow in the uni library together with a uni friend who also has an extention to hand it in (I finish nightshift at 7.15, then go off to uni and from uni I go back to next night shift at 9.15pm tomorrow). Thank goodness that friend is also at uni tomorrow until 7pm...that just helps more to actually stay there...however, by sunday I should have done 2/3rd of my dissertation as I don't waste much time in rethinking the material I have...so I pretty much use what I have, continue to keep looking if something falls into my hand, but overall its now just about to get all the bits and pieces onto paper [:)] Next week saturday we celebrate as a course our finishing of uni at a club [:)] and I wanna make sure to have it finished then and not to keep working on it the day afterwards [8\|] which would be my last day to work onto it...the actual graduation is sadly next year february and not yet...[&o] but on the plus side that gives me lots of time to shrink into my dress, which I bought for it already last year january in the sales [:D] However, I know what I am doing...now I just have to try to get it well on paper [8\|]

Hats off to ya! I have always wanted a doctorate, but the memory of the two master's is ENOUGH! Besides, I don't know what I want to write about... ANYWAY!! W000000000000t!! And am I a threadkiller or WHaTT?

Afternoon everyone. I am about to get Lizard's report card. If she fails, she will have to report 9th grade all over. She is claiming that since she has failed the entire system (except Music and Latin) she might as well just take the algebra course at that time and let her have an easy time. If the report card has the algebra as failing, she has to take the summer school course instead so she can take algebra II course during the regular year. Lizard is being bullheaded about it. She also has to do 10 days of community service to make up for unexcused absenteeism. I am about to pull out what hair that I have left out...right now she is screaming about NOT taking summer school since she is taking it again in the regular sessions. Damn...I need duct tape to help her realize that her attitude is responsible for what she can and cannot do.

Tell her that half the premed, prevet and engineering students I know take summer school classes in rough classes so that when they take them properly in the fall they are pretty much guaranteed passing them. Beyond that, can you find her a really horrible job as an alternative? Ditch digging, cleaning recyclables, something really scuzzy so she will think school is much better? But if she's failed that many classes, does she have the option of summer school? Here you can take a maximum of two during the summer, after that it's repeat time. And both my kids have repeated Spanish I and Spanish II. In fact the oldest took each of them three times, two in high school and then all over again in college. Because she takes these courses now, or she takes remedial courses before she does regular college work. Unless she's opting for Vo-tec; culinary arts, auto mechanics etc.

I think I got another trick up my sleeve... She LOVES Japanese anime. We just did the A-kon in Dallas this past weekend. She did a lot of the panels and failed to tell me where she was going...I asked her that check out the Chinese restaurant about a block away from the hotel, after which she went to cosplay without telling me and her BF where she was. (a simple call on the inhouse phone would of been nice...) I had the staff looking for her and they had the pic of her from Facebook. I think that if her HS has computer courses that deals with with the anime and manga, she would go to them and realize that she needs the basic courses to improve her skills in the said area. Meanwhile..she is trying to boycott PE classes. I will talk to Bo about having more nutritious foods on hand, like more bananas, salads and so forth. He needs to cut out the instant junk food (less chips, instant noodles and fatty meats). Maybe I should get the collar and leash out for my little sadomasochistic girl and have her get the BF out to help her realize that we just wait the best for her.

Do they make them change in the locker room in front of each other? Because that's why most kids I've known hate PE. If so, then they need to set up an alternative to regular PE. Perhaps taking yoga out of school and bringing in a slip signed by the instructor.? Must be something she would like. Me? I'm trying to determine how the teen went from in the 90's in Algebra II to a 46? He claims it's because he missed one quiz and as that 'quiz' was the only test this term, it caused the drop. He should retake it tomorrow and hopefully the grades will return to normal.

She wants to play tennis and that requires the physical exam. I am afraid because she exercise-induced asthma. If she fails the exam due to that, I don't know what she can take without her asthma kicking in.

SCI!!! ETA: Lizard has given in for the summer school if I brought for her... CHINESE FOOD!!! Tis better than financial bribery... Shot...already 5:30? I got to get the dishes done or else I get spanked... Perhaps I should get them half done and still get a spanking...[:D]

W000000000000t!! thanks but I am not doing a doctorate...its only normal first degree...and I have no intentions to continue uni crap any further down the line (though I said the same already after my 2 apprentice ships which I did before [>:] and somehow life never goes the way how "I" plan it)...however, I have no interest in masters...well, not in that kind of masters I mean...so nope...its just a "simple" BA (hons) degree...but still need to get my paper started as somehow time flew by big time at home today...I aimed to hand in portfolio tomorrow (well, by now its today) but forgot to print my presentations...so well...I carry it home again and hand it in next week now as one of my presentations I don't have in any of my emails...either way, at least I finally get that paper started today after my nightshift...at last...and I damn can't wait to hand it in for good [:'(][:'(][:'(]
