Now i can sleep at night without vital signs at 2 am and blood draw at 5am.
 
Everybody was very nice at the hospital, but the night shift seemed to go out it's way to keep me from sleeping.

Get really bitchy at the morning rounds about how the graveyard shift is not allowing you to get some sleep.  I did when I was in ICU monitoring my heart (apparently the drug that I took 6 dosages of affects the heart, not the stomach).  I just wanted to sleep, I swear! *was having a PTSD moment*

And Holly, $500 buys a surge protector that goes on your electricity panel to protect everything in the house. But you have to pay the electrician to install it, not try to do it yourself.

It's a beautiful day here today.  The sun is shining, only a slight breeze, and about 68 F.
 
i'm going to take a walk downstairs, across the parking lot, and to the office.

Its a beautiful day here as well...until I get up and have to avoid the clothes tossed all around the bedroom and bathroom.

First order of business...round up the clothes and get them in the hamper...I will do the kitchen about 4 or 5 o'clock.

I figure if we do this at stages, the place will look a hell of a lot better.

I am trying to wake up right now...anyone got a liter of soda or some caffeine pills on hand?
