If it's 90 degrees, I'd say you're overdressed...

I'm wearing a pretty purple bikini and a sarong. Just climbed outta the pool cause the sun went behind a cloud, so the oldest monster and I grabbed my laptop and we're sitting by the pond watching the fish jump. I'm not overdressed at all, Steven [8D]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 11:42:24 AM)

On the count of 1, 2, 3...Send PICS!!

DS needs some visualization.

sophiesback -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 11:48:56 AM)

I am so LOL at you Shar, I am not sending bikini pics of me.........let me lose 30 more pounds and then mAyBe!

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 12:05:09 PM)

[:D]

I need to lose 100 or more myself (I am blaming the meds for making me more hefty) as long as NO ONE  brings any sodas into the house, I will be fine.

Got a appt. with the brain doctor tomorrow...early tomorrow...so we are going to Sams as well.  I prefer going to the zoo.

 A three year-old with a balloon. . .  is there anything cuter?

Except when she popped the first on on the ceiling and then looked at me and said, "Again?!"

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 12:43:49 PM)

Just get her a box, about the size of a fridge or a recliner, and let her loss...Be sure to have crayons onhand...

I had forgotten about the power of boxes.  I will pick up an extra movers box the next time we buy boxes for work.  They are extremely sturdy and large!  [:)]

And yes, there are always crayons and sidewalk chalk around.  How else can you start teaching those mad math skillz without the sidewalk chalk?

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 1:10:33 PM)

I used the number system from CapMetro in Austin.  By the time she went to Headstart, she was doing simple multiply and how to add.

these days, gettiong her to do formulas in Algerbra is a battle.  I am going to enlist the help of some teachers for tutoring.  I can do the rest myself.

DS, I am going to take you up on that offer.  I know she has several messengers, so let me sweet talk her a bit.

Phoenix, I hope all works out for mama and you.  At least it's something that can be treated.

How are the little guys doing?

thanks S2S. Thankfully "summer" is better now. She just cuddled up next to my lap for a while then ate a bit and now moved to the cupboard to have some rest....she still doesn't want her lil ones but thats ok....I give her some time to gain back some strength, considering the vet had to pump 60ml water underneath her skin.

I am just relieved she is better now.

my lil ones were very wet when i picked them up from my 1st floor neighbour (they seem to get wet when they aren't warm enough...) and now they are snuggling on a freshly heated warming pad...

my colleague tried with different ways to convince me to breed her again but I changed my mind...this action now is far more than I ever wanted and when I potentially end up now to hand rear them (though I hope summer will take over again in 1-3 days) then I have even less interest to ever give them away again...nope...my boys stay here with me.

Probably i will name them cinnamon and nutmeg, though still have to wait and see if they turn out one seal point and one red point...considering I was looking forward to a girl I don't rely on my luck in that respect...

but they do well and are very active so we (my neighbour and I) should get them through that time...can't wait that they finally open their eyes....I just hate them running around blind...all the time at danger to fall down somewhere [>:]

Butcher block paper works wonders too!

Aylee -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 3:29:19 PM)

Yes, especially for those days that have to be spent inside because of the weather.

jlf1961 -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 3:42:33 PM)

I repeat, has anyone heard from holly?

I can see she got my lil parcel delivered on the 9th but I swear there was no bomb or anything else in it which could lead to an injury for her [&:] nope [&o]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 4:10:49 PM)

Nothing yet, I am concern about her as well.

Maybe she had some appts.?

Aylee -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 8:08:16 PM)

[sm=writing.gif]Important note to self:

It is good to remember just how long Indian Dinners take before dressing Butterhead up and going out for dinner.  Toddlers have a time limit for sitting in a restauant.  [>:]

Next time, a babysitter.  [;)]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 8:41:59 PM)

Note to Self:  Hopefully Holly was getting some of her bionics removed.  she will set off some detrators when sho goes thru one...

Meanwhile...if someone has her number, please call her!  Jeff is getting antsy.

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/12/2010 9:07:00 PM)

That's good news, Phoenix, I hope she continues to improve, and that she takes over her "mommy" duties again.  I hand reared a litter of 15 mice.....I know what it entails.  OY!

I think it's great that you might/will end up keeping them, too.....but I own 4 of the little beasties, and I am an advocate for more than one kitteh in the house anyway.

Oh yeah, one more thing.....PICS!

soul2share -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/13/2010 4:13:01 AM)

Lookie who killed the thread!

sunshinemiss -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (7/13/2010 5:07:30 AM)

So I got an email from lushy today.  It says something about butter and refrigerators and sending stuff.  I may have lost my memory of something.

By the by, I moved half my stuff today.  I will move the rest of my stuff tomorrow.  YAY!
