I am trying to wake up myself...had a bad night.

I did make sure that Georgie did have his walk and then crashed again.

Now...which project to work on....

Aylee -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (8/9/2010 3:39:56 PM)

Cute kittahs!

I have three things today to tell.  Most days I have nothing.

1.  My mother got a 96% on her math class that she took this summer for her nursing school stuff.  She has never felt mathamatically inclined so this was some wonderful news.  I am so proud of her.  I think that I will be needing to buy another diploma frame in a couple of years.  [:)]  I had better send Otter a heads up.

2.  We went to a lunch today.  One of the other halfs former co-workers wanted help setting up his new computer.  I was not asked to bring a dessert or side dish, so I went and bought a bottle of wine as a gift.  I was brought up that you always take something with you.  After lunch was finished and the computer was set up, his partner saw the bottle of wine in the fridge.  And Rod explained that I had brought it as a gift but it was not chilled.  THEN he asked me if I wanted some of the wine since it was now chilled.  I do not know about the rest of you, but I have never drank wine with my lunch.  So of course I declined and stated that it was just a gift for them for having us over for lunch.  They said that they were going to get hammered with it tonight.  [8|]  Umm. . . not on one bottle guys.  LOL

3.  I went to check on Butterhead.  She was perched in the window COMPLETELY nekkid and calling out for "Arnold."  Arnold is the pig on the Kipper cartoon.  After I had clothes back on her I told her that when it got cooler I would take her to the dairy farm to see the pigs.  (They have pigs at the dairy farm.  I am not just confused.)  The other half hears this and asks me, "You aren't going to let her see them slaughter them are you?"  Umm. . . NO.  They don't even slaughter them there.  What the hell kind of mother does he think I am?  [8|]

Well, anyways, that is all I have for today.

Phoenix, they are adorable!!!!!!  But Auntie Pepper doesn't look too thrilled.....I can almost her her saying "go away kid, you bother me" in her best W.C. Fields voice....

Aylee, great news on your mom's grade!  And I CAN get buzzed on one bottle of wine...I don't drink much, so it's easy to do.

And Butterhead has the right idea....when it's as hot as you've said it is, nekked is the only way to go!  Course, I don't usually hang out the window hollering for a piggy, but hey, if it works for her, then it's all goooood!  [:)]

ShaharThorne -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (8/10/2010 4:24:17 AM)

Morning everyone...

Wish I had some orange juice and scrambled eggs with cheese.

Where have the males subs gone to?

Yes, she is still a bit on the edge of accepting them...but at least she does now for a while....she is fine with it when they are near her and she licks them...but she isn't too pleased when they crawl onto her...also it seems to me now that Urmel is getting quite a rebell....he is the smaller from the two (though I think by now it isn't to see anymore actually) and gosh did he fight last night with his brother about the milkbar....seems there was one nipple which gave 3 times the amount then the other and nobody wanted to let go of it...and as they have their teeth now summer wasn't impressed....really have to get catmilk now and unween them...can't be difficult, considering the already go for the main food (this picture was taken last night I placed them onto the bed and when I came back they were gone...so I had a look and found them right at the foody bar) [8|][:D]

PeanutTigerinBox -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (8/10/2010 4:40:23 AM)

Apart from that I am pretty stressed out right now as my ex is in one of his "don't contact me moods" again...(one of the reasons I am glad it never worked out with him and me) which means I have to cover my rent via expensive short loans...and until I have them in the account I can't just blindly rely on it as rent is due on sunday, so I am fixed on my progress on my email replies...almost half of the needed money came in today which is a huge relief already, but considering I wanted to rewrite my essay today on my only day off until the essay is due - well, off until my nightshift starts - (where now again I can't rely on him to fix my grammar when he mentally locks himself away) this stress factor couldn't have come at a worse time now...but at least I know I only need to fix mainly the analysis as her other hassle about letting fail my referencing isn't a big deal to fix...and I have a few other people to fix grammar so its not the end of the world...but simply nevertheless....stressful [&o]

so far I don't feel their claws...so not an issue yet...it regular gets on my nerves with pepper and on top of that she has the habbit to kneed her paws onto my pressure points (fibromyalgia wise) which is only annoying, because despite moving her to every ankle from it next to it she always goes right back onto them...

therefore so far Merlin and Urmel are doing ok...and I keep my fingers crossed that Uncle Spicy will teach them one day day to pull the claws in when hugging humans...as he always pulls his claws in...but so far...he doesn't wanna know them [:(] both of my boys don't wanna know about them [:(]

edited as I forgot to mention that it was too cute actually yesterday...at first only Urmel was lying on me like that and every few minutes he slipped down and so had to crawl up again [:D] why he just didn't stop to bother and just lie next to me is beyond me [8|]

Self service kittehs!!!!!  Lucky you...sometimes I wish that KB had opposable thumbs and could open his own cans of cat food...then I'd get some sleep!  And they'll learn about the nails......they always do....hopefully before poking everything full of little holes!

They are cute little stinkers, tho!  Looks like ones silver.....which is which?

Well, I let them self service since I have 3 of them...I think...simply because I was not much at home with uni, placement, work and even night shift work...and discovered that way it is much easier for them and for me.

reg. they'll learn about the nails, wel, pepper doesnt...she somehow doesn't grasp that and curry isn't much better either (but he is outside most of the time, so I am less aware of it). However, I hope I will get them there. Here is a pic from today where you see better the different colour tone, though the faces aren't catched great on that one...

the darker one is Merlin and the lighter one is Urmel. Urmel was a popular children figure when I was small and he was rather clumsy...and as he appeared clumsier than Merlin I named him Urmel.

The stud boy owner was assuming that Urmel might turn red like his dad, but by now to me it looks more like that he comes after his granny, because I think summers mum is a blue point birman...and to me he looks like developing in that direction, whereas Merlin comes after his mum and will be a seal point.

If both of them have not a hint of red then that is just my typical luck....travelling through half the country twice to mate her with a gorgeous red boy...then not only not getting a red girl from her, nope, not even a red point boy either [8|]

That's quite content with my general life over here [>:]

But yes, they are gorgeous and whilst I can't enjoy them as much as I would like to due to uni pressure (rewriting essay) and now financially pressure (though it seems I managed now to get my rent together for sunday) I am nevertheless glad to have them around me ... at least a little bit of joy in my hektik life right now...

PeanutTigerinBox -> RE: The Holly and Potty Show (8/10/2010 8:56:01 AM)

here a link to how I assume they will look like in 3 years time (as I read that it takes 3 years until the full colour is out (particular in the face).

this is what I think will Merlin look like (as well as his mum):

http://www.birman.org/pictures/index.html

and this will Urmel be like, if my assumption of him being bluepoint is correct:

http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=yfp-t-702&va=blue+point+birman+cat&sz=all

and that was the original plan [8|]

http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=yfp-t-702&va=red+point+birman&sz=all

but so far....no single red hair to see [8|]

Freezer pet?

Just because I do not eat pork is no reason that she cannot have a new freezer pet.  As long as it is safely dead.  And not moving around in the back seat.

I must have missed the cats. I was stareing at the camels.
