oh yeah.....mine is short now...as in pixie short....I had shoulder length, and was outside putzing around and started to sweat....when I could feel it running thru my hair, I dropped everything, hopped in the car and told the lady to just "cut it off!" I love it now...just wash, run some stuff thru it and I'm outta here! I actually get up about 30 mins before it's time to leave for work now......whereas it used to be an hour and a half just to "do" the hair!

Phoenix you have such lovely long hair - is there a donation program over there where you can donate ponytails for wigs for cancer patients? Check with your local Cancer Society office! My little girl did it back in April, and I've done it once (we are both growing out for another cut). I can't tell you how good it feels to see the long hair going for a good cause instead of in the trash can. Here you need 10 inches for adult, 8 inches for a child's ponytail. Check it out! My daughter came home for the weekend to spend time with the dog. He grew weaker as the days went. Took him back to the vet this morning for a check up and he just passed as we sat there petting him, waiting for him to be seen. He had nothing but love in him for us. And we loved him dearly. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my last (ever) cat Jun 22nd. I knew she was going so I took her outside, sat under the apple tree with her, and she died in my lap. I hope you being there with your dog when he went was a comfort to you.

Georgie is on his last leggies. We are deciding eoither for him to pass on or have him to go to sleep at the vet's office. It's a hard decision to make..

Just got news... My niece H, is in the hospital for a UTI and some kidney infection. Mom is getting M and J together for me to watch over. H does have a history of UTIs and hopefully does not get placed on a watch for kidney infection. Yes, her kidneys have been showing damage for quite a while. Just everyone's thought, prayers and candles will be greatly needed.

mmmmmmmmnomnomnommmmmmmmmmmmm....warm fresh chocolate chip cookies.........and I have a new way to make them....used the toll house recipe doubled, and instead of doubling the margarine, I used 1 c margarine and 1 cup applesauce, and only 2 eggs total. They are soft and high, like the Archway chocolate chip drop cookies that can only be found back home in NYS. Bake 'em at 375 for about 15 mins...they don't spread out, so you have to use touch to decide if they are done enough. I love to play with recipes......I have about 4 variations on the chocolate chip alone.....I like this one the best! And I use a whole bag of walnuts and a whole bag of chocolate chips.....a whole mouthful of goodness! [:)]

Damn it...neighbors' dogs are bothering the cats again. Meanie (long hair orange) in the deck railing, don't know where Mommie Kitty and the brave one is somewhere. I just wish these dogs quit messing with the cats...I was to stop feed the cats, but I have a soft heart...I was willing to get a puppy to help Mom when Georgie passes on...but she said no more dogs. My brother called from work and his house. Told him the room number and he took off. Please avoid the 10yo green ford truck....

[:)] Oh believe me I am looking forward to play with recipes again at last...but - despite not being keen on it - I think it might be worth to spend a night at my new place this week...the reason I am not keen on is simply due to the disgusting floors there and after all I won't have my stuff with me, but I guess it is better to spend a night there now (taking laptop with me to be able to watch tv as well as doing uni work of course) before my stuff gets all over where I could still drop out if necessary...i really think once the floors are swapped against laminate I will like it, but with these current floors I just don't have a good feeling, even when I know that floors are not the reason for creatures such as cockroaches... so I try to stay there this saturday probably....taking my 2 boys with me as defence for whatever crawly creature might turn up [>:]
