Well that is too bad. Although what would you do with them if you did find them. You do not seem like the scrimshaw kind of person. I could be wrong, of course.


So. . . somehow I have grown fingernails. Well, I have always grown them, I suppose, I just tend to remove them with my teeth.

I have put some clear coat on (Hard as Hoof?) and I am considering some color as well. There have been times in my life that I have colored my nails and I do not tend to chew on them when I have done that.

Any bets on how long the nails last?

Status: offline 		arrrrrgh! The woman I work with is a total bitch!!!!!!

I got a second job, full time, and the training for the job is from 4pm to 12:30 am for 3 weeks. I want to keep the job I currently have too.....so I spoke to her about shifting my schedule to accomodate the training for the second job, she said she'd talk to the boss, but that she didn't think he'd ok it. It's no secret about how badly I need money at work.....I've been robbing Peter to pay Paul, and both of them are broke! Anyway.....I gave a tentative notice.

So, I wait for her to come back with an answer. She said they were going to have a meeting and she'd go over it with him then. The meeting was on Monday. Tuesday, still nothing...I was off Wednesday. When I came in on Thursday, I decided that I Was going to get an answer. I went in, and asked him...and his response was "I won't stand in the way of anyone wanting to better themselves!" He told me it was not going to be a problem, I could stay on there, and any scheduling issues would be taken care of. The weight of the world lifted off my shoulders!

The kicker was that the bitch NEVER said a word to him about the situation. She was going to let me just go.....but she wasn't expecting me to be desperate enough to go over her head, and be prepared to beg if I had to! The fact that I did that really pissed her off! This woman has some sort of personal problem with me, but I have no idea what. THe most conversation I have with her is "hello" and work related stuff. I pretty much go to work, do my job, keep my head down and leave. I thought it was me, but several others I work with have asked me about it.

So, I'll be getting 2 paychecks, I can get all my bills back in order, and pay the back rent I owe. My landlord has been great....I'm in the hole for $600 and he hasn't said a word, or even mentioned eviction. And I'll have money for Christmas presents! Finally......I think the end is in sight! phew!

and yea on the nails....I had some, but I've been so stressed and stuff that I've bitten them way back down to nothing. I have some of htat nail biting stuff to put on them, but I'm so used to the nasty taste it doesn't even stop me. Only by making a concerted mental and physical effort not to bite them will I get them to grow again. Once they get long enough, I'll get fake ones put on so they can grow. {sigh} I have some really pretty rings to wear, but don't cuz my hands are so ugly right now.

He is doing great! He is eating like a little piggy. He likes to eat so much that I have to cut him off because he will spit it back up.

I did take some pics last night, but I have not moved them from the camera to the computer yet. And today I am actually working. . . at a hospital. . . taking out a CT Scanner! YAY!

I had to train myself not to bite my nails.  The only way it worked was wearing nail polish or top coat.  Dad thought wearing polish made one a slut/whore/lady of ill repute.

But then I let Grandma polish my nails.  Sure he got upset, threatening to whoop my ass but Grandma (all 5 feet of her) told him that I am a teenager and need to socialize with other girls who do typical teenage things and that included nail polishing.

No more whoopings, no more bitten nails.

I don't wear polish now but I am cured of the habit.

I need a manicure though.

Status: offline 		So, the other half thinks that I may be doing too much. I got home from work last night about nine o'clock. We had stopped to have dinner and it had been an hour drive, so it is not like I had been working that late. I went to lay down and he brought me a snack. I fell asleep while chewing. He seems to think that this is a sign of something. Something like being about 250 hours of sleep behind. *snort*

I did make some bread. It is baking right now. It smells really good. I hope it tastes good as well.
