A bit of this, a bit of that, Pure.... Worried about Punky, some girly-stuff and thinking that maybe a nap and my book would be the best place for me since i seem to be in a sensitive mood and not sure if I'm going to start crying or not. (And no, ya wise-ass Potty, it ain't PMS!) Just one of those days.......

Punky had blood at the end of his poo last night. No other symptoms, just some blood but Lumus was not happy and i'm worried. He's a goofy, weird, retarded cat but he's MY goofy, weird, retarded cat......

hands Rain a chill pill. Relax...if it is red blood that means it is coming from the very end of the ol poop shoot. It may be something as simple as a tiny tear due to stressing when in the litter box

OMG, can you say "SUPER-COLON", Potty??? Appetite is fine, he loves to eat, water intake is good, I give him fresh cool water twice a day, we haven't had a single box accident since we brought him inside, he's scrupulous about using his box. His box is cleaned daily unless he he thinks it's too messy, then he'll go right on top in the middle and not cover it. THAT'S his sign that mom needs to scoop his box NOW. (He has me trained so well....)

This was right at the end of the stool which was lighter and looser than normal. One thing I was thinking of was his cat food, Lumus had picked up another brand than I had asked for and I'm not sure if that affected Punky. His energy seems ok and he was his usual goofball self last night. I'm just keeping a close eye on him right now. He's scheduled for his snippity-snip here soon though unless he goes in sooner...

Awww, don't worry about it so much, Rain. If it was just a little bit near the end I'm sure it was just a little straining going on & he's fine. But do like you said, keep a close eye on his poopies for now & if the blood increases take him to the vet. If you don't see anything else, don't worry about it, but again, keep an eye on him. When's his appt?
