The slaying of dragons ensues...

Not knowing the context and conversation.  I could go two ways.

Leaning toward extrapolating from my experience online and off, I'd say, move on and don't sweat it.  Until and unless he is your dom, speaking to him is subject to your comfort and common courtesy.

I was told by a Dominant that I do not sound submissive. I did request some information when confronted with his rather implausible circumstances.

I admit to finding it amusing. I mean, really how does a submissive sound? Timid? Gullible? My intention was not to sound demanding or rude but potential Dominants must understand submissives are relegated to slaying dragons here, i.e. disputing the many misleading and duplicitous missives we receive each day.

Okay, 'nuff said. Back to writing a proposal for a client...merry

What does "submissive" sound like?  If the "Dominant" in question (and I use the term loosely) had any idea, he should be telling you.  To me, a submissive sounds like someone snuffling and mumbling unintelligibly, because he or she is probably wearing a gag or other speech inhibitor (I know - I'm a submissive too).  So what does a submissive sound like to you?  Easy.  Tape-record yourself during a scene, listen to the playback, and then you'll know.

After meeting and having countless conversations with pet over the phone he does not sound submissive. he is very dominant in everyday life. If I would have met him in person first he would be the last person I would have guessed to be submissive. I love this fact about him, he is very set in his routines, very outspoken, and fiesty!!! he can be a handful and a challenge at times but I wouldn't want him any other way. I like my pet to be a bit fun to keep me on my toes. For those out there that don't "sound" submissive be patient there will be someone who doesn't want a doormat or a quiet yes person, they'll be looking for someone to have conversations with and someone to have fun with. Trust me there are those types of Dommes out there, I know I am one who is very happy to have found my anti-subby![;)] ~Lorelei

I wouldn't bother requesting infromation, ie, asking for an argument.  You know he's full of shit, so why give him the time of day?  Block, delete, move on.  :)
