I wish. My ultimate dream is a partner who has as much interest in technology and business as I do. All I seem to find here for the most part are "fluff kittens."

I am pretty intellegent and Master has 2 Masters degrees.  Neither one of us is a snob and after over 2 years we never run out of things to talk about.

To the OP talking like everyone on here is not your  Intellectual  equal will not win you a lot of friends.  Some of us might be offended.

But not everyone on here IS everyone else's intellectual equal. Not everyone thinks the same.

Is there a Forum for intellectual types anywhere? Intellectual Snobs?  I ask because in the kind of relationship I want, the BDSM bond would lie beneath the surface - smoulder even, but since the bulk of our lives are not spent having sex, I do need to be with people who are curious, worldly and/or informed.....

Just admit it.

You know that deep down all you want is someone that will have their holes open for your man-rod 24/7.

This is all just a ruse to get the fluff kittens to come out of the woodwork protesting about how intellectual they are.  It's much easier to find them when their fur is on end.

Seriously, there are tons of intelligent people around the boards.  I would say though your chances of actually getting one of them to write you with this post is about five million to....  You get the idea.

Why not find someone with the brain you require who has an interest in kink?  Start frequenting science message boards...or...math...etc.
Actually it sounds like you are seeking a normal person for a normal relationship.
Start talking here..there are the right types...if they respond to you in this thread...doubtful as you are trolling to an extent.

as an intellectual elitest fuck .... I sometimes wish there was some kind of exam to sit ... but then I also say that about securing approval to breed ..

I don't require someone to have an extensive formal education ... but by God they had better read and educate themselves ... intellect is totally non-negotiable for me.

with regard to BDSM .. it really is  not enough to physically overpower me .. its easy, I am a girl and a fairly weak one at that .... but to intellectually overpower me - to back my intelligence systematically into a corner, to destroy me using reasoning and rhetoric .. to be better informed and better equipped to crush me in discussion ... i said this on a thread not long ago ... anyone can hold me down and fuck my body - I only know one person that can get me to hold myself down while He fucks my soul

Shrugs,I find it's usually the fluffly ones with very little to offer who think people talking about things like sociology-technology, science-are "snobs".

I guess it sucks to be out of your league. We must tear those horrible smart people down-this is supposed to be a democracy dammit! Slow down so we can all keep up!

Well since the OP said "Intellectual Snobs" in his post, I don't think anyone is bringing the term in because they feel someone is out of there league.

Some people like to associate with snobs. It's just their nature. And other people just don't like associating with snobs.

As someone who is formally educated(PhD), I share your concern about finding an intellectual equal. You just have to be flexible. As a former colleague and sub(though unfortunately not mine) once said; snobbery means you have standards.

I've found snobbery to be the antithesis of the kind of intellectual quality I expect in myself and look for in a even the most casual play partner.  The kind of people I want to be around are constantly learning and this means excluding NO ONE since even the most limited intellect may have answers that are missed by those searching loftier domains.
