Yes, I was diagnosed 10 years ago. It was mild to moderate until about 2 years ago when my grandfather died. I didn't realize how stressed I was until my jaw locked while I was trying to drink from a straw. That was Capital B Bad! So, no more straws, gum, crunchy, chewy, or big bites. Sadly, had to cut way back on BJs Lots of stretching excersizes and regular visits with my chiropractor for deep tissue work. So far, I've been lucky enough to avoid needing a night guard or surgery and I'm finally to a point where I can go several weeks without having to take pains meds for my jaw. The gag incident was one small lack of judgement on my part that will forever live on in the history of Stupid Things I've Done To My Body.
