Hey guys! Back from the foor party and figured I'd give an update.
First, thanks to you all for giving advice, definitely helped take some of the edge off.
I still had not yet completely decided what to wear by Friday evening, which is definitely a bad sign for me. But the theme was "secretaries" and my partner had really enjoyed one of my work outfits so I went with that for the evening. A normal beige knee-length asymmetrical skirt with a beige/white sleeveless knit turtleneck. I had a hard time deciding on shoes since I'm one of those women who NEEDS a strap around the ankle and most were buckles, but I remembered a pair of brown strappy 4-inch heels that just require a quick zipper up the back and went with them.
For preparation I simply did a normal pedicure at home, with lots of sloughing and moisturizing.
We drove up through Philly for the day where I got treated to a trip to Passional and tried on some stuff, as well as a truly awesome cheesesteak. Then we drove up to South Jersey for the night and got ready to go out.
I truly had a blast. I was foremost surprised at the age group. I suppose I was comparing the fetish party to normal bdsm parties. In fact, a great majority of the men were between 20-35, with a large handful of 40 year olds and such as well. Most of them were very handsome and looked like very normal middle upper class business men.
The party was hopping when we arrived about an hour or so after start. There were tons of girls there, all college age, all pretty hot, all obviously very comfortable with being hot and social (something I've never been). Oddly enough I ws surprised at some of the footwear the girls chose to wear- some wore the standard "stripper lucite" heels, some wore strappy buckled shoes and a handful wore stockings as well.
I remained quite nervous even after my partner introduced me to a few people until he decided to do a session with me on the pool table. After that I was VERY relaxed and mellowed. I'd felt like I'd gotten my cherry broken and could now be recognized as "one of them" rather than just a new onlooker.
We had tried to get one of my partner's regular girls to do a double session but she bowed out saying she had to get home early. While we enjoyed eachothers company, I encouraged him to find another girl so I could watch them do a session together. While he was off, I ended up in a session of my own with another nice guy.
My partner came back with TWO girls in toe...er tow...and I got to watch him charm and enjoy their feet while my guy enjoyed my own ministrations.
Once those sessions were done, I was about done (getting tired and headachy) so we made our goodbyes and left. I was totally relaxed and happy and DEFINITELY wanting to come back. The atmosphere was so much more relaxed than at most bdsm parties I go to, no jockeying for play space, no pressures about stepping on toes (hehe), no political undercurrents to care for. Just people there to enjoy feet and have a good time together.

) - but if your going with the mindset that you may participate and dip your toe in the water (sorrreeee couldnt resist!), then Stockings might be a good bet of your relaxed enough to wear them. They are a good token to wear and they are easy enough to remove (over the knee thigh hold ups are even quicker, but do leave marks even on the slimest thigh, and aren't really practicle from a personal point of view)
