That'd work, but swingers typically are out to have sex with others outside their relationship or swap partners, from what I understand.

holly, no need to slap a lable on per say, but It does help to have a word to explain what you are, of course I could just say I don't fuck others when in a relationship but I do seek to play outside my relationship lol.

no, swingers differentiate between soft swapping and hard swapping. (I think that's what they call it) A soft swap would include everything up to but not "intercourse".

Im with LA, its still nonmonogamous. Sex is sex, even if it isnt penis penetration, fingering and toys are stil sex. So, I'd call it, if a lable was needed, open relationship.

I don't consider it sex more like sex acts. yeah open relationship is good. I see it a lot with BDSM couples as well where the partners may do scenes with others but not have sex with anyone but their partner. Worrying about what to call it seems pretty irrelevant except as a shorthand way to tell others what you're about.
