I think we are not communicating with one another very well. Now I understand you to be asking, 'how do the techniques that certain websites describe as useful to achieving I.E. make a slaves inability to leave a more working practice than, say, just setting the goal and communicate honestly'. Did I get it right this time? (not snarky there, serious, i don't think i have been understanding you, because i took offense when you called it 'the basic concept' (as in, the basic concept of slavery or of I.E. or something - anyway, i think i have not been answering the right question)
Here is the best answer I can give - I don't believe that any of the techniques on the website necessarrily work any better than what you asked about. I am not particularly devoted to the website, one way or another.
I.E. is, in essence, nothing but setting a particular goal. The goal, for me, anyway, of I.E., is continous, joyfull slavery. That is not just a string of adjectives, that is a precise goal, slightly different than the goal someone else might have for their slavery. (though not necessarily better - just more fitting to what I want.)
I.E. is usefull as a community because I find it useful to be around other slaves and other couples who have that same goal in mind. I do not limit myself to them, I find it useful to be around other slaves who are not I.E., around other lifestyle people, around other childcare workers, around others trying to lose weight, around other Quakers - any number of people who have something in common with me - and I find it usefull to be around people who have differences from me, as well.
But, being around other people who happen to want the same things in slavery that Master and I want is helpful to those goals. As I have described in this thread before, I can go to those friends with problems like - 'Master wants me to XYZ. I find it repulsive. How can I do it with joy?'
Having a definition of I.E. that I find resonates with me as a goal halps me to achieve those goals - just like having a definition of what makes me a 'good mother' or a 'healthy eater' can halp me stay focused to achieve other goals.
I do WW to lose wieght. If you asked me to defend why WW was the only or best way to lose weight, I could not. But it works for me, and I am happy with it. I don't have to defend that it is best to be happy with using it, and to talk to other people about it with enthusasim, recomend it, ect. Being around other people who use WW as a definition of healthy eating helps me stay on track. Having a defintion as a goal helps me. That is all that is happening with I.E. If you are asking me to explain some magic in it, there is none.

Internal Enslavement is about a slave being incapable of wanting to leave. it really is that simple.

Which doesn't require giving that concept a special name, or turning it into a sacrament, or role playing whether based on pop psychology or pulp fiction.

In fact, doing any of those things would seem to detract from the basic concept.

Much like what marriage has become you mean?

Marriage, with its impressive rate of success?  Exactly.

I didn't mean its success, I meant its overblown sacrament-status and all-defining of relationships.

Some ask if I love my property, and indeed I do, but as an owner I have come to realize that you must always own property more than you love them. The more enslaved (owned) the property becomes then the greater you can love them. In the end though, she is property, and I treat her as such.

Orion,

I get this question a lot too from many woman who are desirous of learning more about my Mastery and I could not have said this better myself.

Thank you for posting it!
