One thing's for sure for me: the way this thread's turning out doesn't inspire the confidence I would need to go and meet a cm member willy nilly.

Willy-nilly is the perfect adverb to go with 'meeting members'.

I used to speak to someone on here that met many other people from here she said "You're always surprised but never disappointed." I suppose you have to be of that mindset that unexpected surprises are an adventure for that to be true. Obviously she stopped talking to me when I changed her name by deed poll on her behalf.[8|]

Actually, erin, that's kinda why I look forward to meeting you. I've been bopping around our local community for a long long time (like about 10 years). I've only known you from on here. And as I've watched more and more of my friends exclaim over you, I find myself thinking "oooh, I've "known" her for a long time!! I can't wait to finally meet her."

Aww, don't let this thread taint you.  Sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't.  And not everyone feels the need to bring their dirty laundry out into the public.
