Status: offline 		I was on the other side when I saw something I found unique.  I won't post his text but will paraphrase it for a question.

[ I am offering a safe place for sub/slaves who are on the road and wish to stop a while. I would expect the female to cater to my whims. The sub would also be subjected to bondage discipline training; Honesty, disease/drug free are musts but herb is ok and encouraged ]

There are more descriptive things in his ad, but these are the ones I found interesting.

If you are traveling would you consider such an offer?  Do you see the conditions as something that is acceptable?  Is this something you have done or offered?  Is this more common than I would like to think?

Status: offline 		Well I've certainly enjoyed my one night stands of sex and kink before.  Back in NJ my owner told me that his other subs husband would be spending the night with me on his way to leather retreat and I was to offer all services to him as he wanted.  We ended up having an amazing time and started a two year relationship. 

Now it would have to be something I'd be in the mood for, have the right chemistry with that person and right timing for that trip.  But, given all the right circumstances, sure.

Well, if someone agreed to his terms, then I suppose it's acceptable. As long as nothing is illegal, and in that vein, if what he means by "herb" is what I think he means, that wouldn't be acceptable - "encouraging" the use of an illegal substance.

Not exactly. A guy I met online claiming to be a dominant (but in reality a HNG) ended up using our meeting as a means of having a free place to stay for the night. What a swine. I am not quite as gullable these days.

Sounds like a pothead looking for a one night stand involving some tying her up. That is, of course, without knowing the person at all. I wouldn't stay with anyone I don't trust (and my trust is slowly won online).

If I were a submissive female, I'd have to know this person long enough that I'd feel comfortable being submissive to him.

Red flags all over, especially if this is from craigslist or something.

Status: offline 		Heck no,  to me this is considerably different than having a one night stand with some person you meet in a bar...in the bar you have came face to face and felt some chemistry for the person, and spent a bit of time with first  prior to making the decision.

Status: offline 		What I found most unusual was the guy was in his late 50's (looked more like 60's to me).  The rest of the profile said how much he wanted to find a slave to obey all his commands.  The thing that got me was that his idea of being safe meant that he would touch, beat, torment, fuck, a passing stranger in exchange for a place to sleep.  It reminded me of that old bumper sticker.  Gas, Grass or Ass, one way or another you pay for the ride.

personally, until relations were established prior and a foundation of trust was built i truly doubt it!  and i am an adventurous travelling girl.  something just doesn't set right about such a profile.

Status: offline 		It doesn't sound the least bit enticing to me.  When I have backpacked I have stayed with people I met on the road however the decision was made based upon initially getting to know them in person even if we had only met that day.  I would feel much more uncomfortable staying with someone who is nothing more than a name on a computer and definitely wouldn't be planning on playing with him in return for a cheap/freeplace to sleep.  That is why backpackers hostels were invented.

a little off topic - I have noticed quite a few profiles from men that mention that they are visiting a particular place for a short time and asking for a woman to take them around and to help make their visit more enjoyable...often mentioning that they will take the person out for meals etc.  I am a profile junkie but haven't noticed women asking for the same thing.

No, but not for any other reason than if i am travelling i like to stay in really nice hotels.

Is it really any different than having a one night stand or first play date with someone you met online?
Lets be honest the guy is going to give you an address which you can pass to friends. Theres safe calls, its no more dangerous than a lot of things.

Can't answer that. I make it a point not to stick my nose in other's people business.

On a side note, I would like to add that part of the agreement I would have would be the removal of bondage...I don't do bondage...not for anyone or for any reason; and not in any form.

He wants drug free but says herb is ok? <shakes head>  Ok...
I wouldn't consider such an offer at all, but I have no problems paying for a hotel and I also have no desire to play casually with a stranger or be involved with anything illegal.
As far as safety goes, I travel for business alone quite a bit and this just seems a bit off...it would take days for someone to notice I wasn't returning emails, calls, etc.  Nope, I'll stick with Marriott.
