ORIGINAL: michelle1227 Are Doms quiet people in the work world and keep a more aggressive side when having Dom sessions or are they alpha males/females in the workplace. I work in a machine shop, which mostly makes spare parts for heavy industry. Specifically, I mostly kick back in my old age while my computer (NC) lathe does the real work as well as oversee any assembly work that's needed, particularly gearboxes, trackwheels and drive-shafts etc - which yousta be my main job before I got all old and decrepid.... ;-) Aggressive? I'm reactively aggressive; ie, I don't start trouble but I'm nobody's "meat", either! 'Positive' might be a more apt description, along with opinionated and outspoken when I do have something to say. Kinda like my CM life.... Alpha male? No, I'm best described as independent. I don't need to be the biggest ego in the room (or even need to be in that room) and nor did I ever "suffer" from peer pressure. I go my own pace and course or follow those whom it might suit me to follow at a given time. I'm even fine if someone else needs to be the alpha in that room; as long as they don't do it at my expense - refer to "reactively aggressive", above.... Focus.
