Ok, of all the things ive done and tried, Ive never been gagged...during anything. o.0

so, big question as it I'd love to try a gag, gag kisses seem super erotic to me.

Anyway, A soft gag *like the ones at bdsmtoybox or sub-shop* while used during your nice averge hot rough heavy breathing (did i mention effin loud?) sex really all that safe? Im thinking with the heavy breathing and yes the spit...really....all that safe? seems like a chokeing hazard possibly, or maybe...like i wouldent get enough air and run the risk of passing out? I dont know I WANT to try it really badly....but is this a stay in fantasy land thing?

(note the balls gags/o ring gags/ hard gags are a no no for me with my TMJ)

A muffle gag with a quick release may be better for your needs.

I love ball gags and such. Even tried a latex gag with a breathing tube. They all hurt my jaw rather quickly. Sucks that all the best things that are effin hot ends up makin my jaw ache!

A muffle gag is basically like a big padded chin cup. It has straps that hold it to the head and neck. Keeps the jaw shut, rather than propping it open.

Have him stuff your panties into your mouth.  If you can't breathe, it doesn't take much on your part to get them out.  If you like the sensation, you can try a tied gag the next time.

OMG, I finds gags to be so hot and own many of them.  Even during regular intercourse if my partner gags me with her hand or I gag her with my hand, it excites me to the point that I cum almost immediately.

Try the gag, in doggie position - that way the spit will come out rather than pool in the back of your throat. Of course you might want a towel on the bed.  Nothing like a little spit on the face to humiliate you, especially if you are lying with your face in the puddle.

I'm the same way! I can't use too many regular gags though, my jaw gets all weird. the only one I've been able to have on for a while is a bit gag, it's my favorite.

  I love my gag, Daddy says that and my blindfold are my comfort objects when I get nervous. I have seen ball gags that now have holes in them..and I hate to compare it but like kitty play balls that you can put catnip in? Yes! So you can breathe and still use it. Interesting. I also like bits, very nice. I have asthma and panic attacks so breathing thru my mouth is often easier than my nose so finding the right gag for you is very very important. Daddy knows that a a sore jaw for a few days afterwards is easier for me to deal with than panicking b/c I cannot breath thru my mouth. Good luck on your search and have fun!

Tape gags just don't seem to be popular in the world of bdsm. I rarely see them mentioned. I love tape. Sometimes I don't even stop at the mouth and can't resist the eyes.

I have extreamly sensitive skin...bad enough if i have a bandaid on for a few hours, it will actually rip enough layers of skin off to......you know when you just barely cut yourself? and your like maybe a layer or two of skin away from bleeding...and the spots red and if you touch it it stings...but dosent bleed? thats what happens when i wear bandaids.....so tape is a no no

I would suggest starting out with something simple, and absorbent... maybe just a length of linen, with a knot in the center, tied around to the back of your head. Very "Perils of Pauline" style... Then later, if you like the sensation, you can go to your local adult toy store, or cruise the net for something a bit more serious.

Personally, I have one that's made from a wide leather belt, and one of those awful ball gags that you get at adult stores (the kind marketed to people who don't know a thing about BDSM) I punched holes down the middle of the length of the belt, and wove the ball gag's leather lace into them. When buckled in place, you have a ball gag that can't be pushed out, nor can the rubber ball be accidentally inhaled to the point of choking. I find it works well, and looks really hot!

Start with a ring gag, the open ring that is strapped into mouth still allows breathing and tongue play. If you like that then next try the plastic ball gag that has holes.

Or I have found that a sports mouth piece is very good, these are easy to use you boil it for a few seconds then quick cool put it in your mouth and it forms to fit. They have a precut opening for air flow between teeth. It also is a good protector for slapping. Use a chin strap to keep mouth held closed.

Muffled screams, grunts and groans.

I have sinus and allergy issues, so when I'm having congestion of my head or chest, he uses a gag that resembles a whiffle ball. It has holes for air in case you can't breathe through your nose, and also allows for spit drainage, and coughing if you have a cold. He's so thoughtful!

I was also worried about this before I'd tried being gagged. I'm the type of person where if my hair, or the pillow, or even my partner is blocking my airflow during sex, I have to move immediately or I get anxious. So I was particularly nervous the first time my partner and I used a gag. We had a signal device, a little toy that I could drop if I felt uncomfortable or anything.

So, despite all my anxiety and worries, we tried it. And I was fine. It's true during sex I had to concentrate on breathing a little bit, but it didn't detract from the other sensations. I can still be loud, I can still breath deeply, I can swallow my spit if I need to. I think the key is getting a gag that isn't that big and wearing it so that it isn't super tight (the first time). The first several times I wore it, it was lose enough that I could spit it out if I really worked at it (like, hardcore tongue strength).

i have quite a bit of experience with gags. Don't much care for the wiffle ball ones or clothes ones... as i'm a biter, and they just don't allow you to chomp down! i've found that my two favorites are rubber ball gags and bit gags. Now, the bit gag i have never had problems with as it's doesn't fill up my mouth. But the ball gag i did have issues with. The session led to crying, the crying led to congestion, the congestion led to... well, i couldn't breath too well. i was struggling for air, and my hands and feet were bound... took quite a bit of screaming and attempting to flail around before i was able to grab hold of him behind me and signal that something was wrong. Took several minutes before i could breath again properly as i think my panic made me hyper-ventilate. (Duh?)

Anyway... find what works for you, and is comfortable. And if you end up using one that doesn't allow you to breath fully through your mouth around it... make sure you have some way to signal "Hey, i'm in trouble!"

I have to admit i'm allowed a penis gag and its easy to breath around and you can move it if you don't do the fastening up tightly.  I've worn it during heavy play and Master can always get the gag out at the drop of a hat if needed.  They are great give them a go :)
