If your referring to things like saying how Master Mind Phucked me into screaming on the deck on afternoon and how I felt it was just a trick, or how he made me learn how to make coffee 4 different ways so I knew how, or the fact that he gave me a few hundred feet of rope cut into pieces and made me whip it myself. Geez I could go on, but I'd be tellin tales out of school.

I don't get it.....I mean, this is an alternative lifestyle site, yes? So, that would mean that people talk about.......alternative lifestyles and practices.

Most of what I read in the forums is about real life experience. I'll offer my own posting history up for dissection - all I ever talk about is my life and how I live/experience it.

As someone mentioned before, the Off Topic section is rife with Real Life aka non BDSM discussions. Check it out.

Cut of a suitable sized leaf section, slics it to expose the fleshy inner side and place that on burns, and wounds. It has the additional benifit of seriously reducing scaring. I've used it in both snall and large wounds when normal medical treatment is not available in combat as well. All bat two largeish scars wher schrapnel had damaged both hip bones, alovera was used on many of my woulnd in 'nam and in other places and so the scar tissuwe is nowhere as obvious as it could have been. Some herbal companies also cold press Australian grown Alovera to add to water or juice for an energy drink. I personally wouldn't be without it.

Again, I did not read every post but I got the gist of this. My spin may be a bit different because I understand that real life and "the lifestyle" are two entirely different entities, yet can and most often times do cross over into each other. Everyone has bills to pay and meetings to go to, work, school, kids, whatever that keeps them from living this fantasy life that we all think we would like. This is not to say that a Dom with a good imagination could not throw a little kink into vanilla activities...I have done so, as I am sure many others have. One thing I always keep in the forefront of my mind and the mind of any submissive I am involved with is that family comes first, jobs(real responsibilities) are a close secon, and our lifestyle comes in a distant third. This is not to say that the relationship comes in last because that would be considered "family" from my viewpoint. So, is this even remotely close to what was meant by "real life posts?"

I understand where your comming from mate, and many of my non Gorean lifestyle friends do just that even when some are 27/7 with their sub. from my perspective, Everything I do is filtered through a Gorean Filter (with the exception of my Counselling/Therapy Practice). But that's a personal choice.

Aloe is Gods/Goddess (depanding on your viewpoint) natural healing remedy for most skin problems. It soothes, helps heal and is completely natural and doesn't have to be used with anything, but can be used with MOST things...
It's great to sooth sunburn.
Healing and for burns.Acts like a sealent and pulls the skin together and also seals wounds from infection.
Dry skin.
Oily Skin.
Eczema.
Dermabrasions.
Use with caution on open wounds.
Good with skin problems that are sore and don't expose the flesh beneath the skin.
Softens, lubricates...
Some people have allergies so beware! - Test Patch.
Helps digestive problems and coughs.
Can be used as laxative but not by elderly or children.
Aid periods where they are heavy and thick.
Helps with joint strain and swelling.
Helps with ringworm.
Taste isn't great - like perfume - used as a nail bite stopper. Can be bought tasteless.
Hundreds of types f Aloe - some are specialist for different things. Check which one you use/have.

Peace and Rapture

I haven't read through every post here but i can definitely see where Veronica is coming from. I have had major issues meeting girls that will put up with my lack of time for them, especially seeing i try to find dominants rather than submissive types. My lifestyle (workwise) is basically 7 days a week and often night time as well. So when i do get a girl that is interestedin me, i can barely squeeze 2-3 hours that week for them and it puts them at my lifestyles mercy which they are not prepared to handle or accept. I wish i could live a 9-5 job with my weekends free but alas i can't do it. It's a shame but real life will always rule my sexlife.

Some people are actually allergic to it. I have never seen one that had a severe reaction. And I don't think it is widespread.

I am not stef, but I play her on TV. Kids, don't try this at home.........LOL

NO ONE can do this 24/7--------normally everyone has work of SOME kind

veronica,
If by 24/7 you are referring to 24/7 sex, or whipping and beating, you're correct. To my knowledge, no one living 24/7 would argue that their entire day and sleep revolved around physical activity. The BDSM portion, or as we refer to it, the physical aspect of who we are is but a part of our relationship, albeit an important one. 24/7 is a state of mind, better yet, a state of being. When a choice occurs the decision is made with our chosen M/s relationship is considered. Our manner of dress, daily responsibility, ritual, and routine includes this consideration. For instance, beth's "work" is keeping my house, however she sees that as a privilege to serve. I don't permit her to work outside the home, not because she can't or doesn't want to; but because I didn't want her to have to consider obeying another "master" - her job. We welcome you to visit us if you ever come to LA because it is better observed than described.

No, the truth doesn't hurt at all, it not only "sets us free", but for both of us, it brings fulfillment.

"24/7" is (by my own definition) a relationship dynamic that remains constant throughout. I don't see anything particularly mystical or difficult about that (either in the understanding of it, or its implementation).

Just being helpful.
