  • Place where then, VP Dan Quayle, misspelled he word 'potato' at a spelling bee. 
  • Besides me (Merc) it is the birthplace of Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and  Samuel A. Alito, Jr.; David Dinkins (ex-NYC Mayor), Dennis Rodman, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Charlie Weis, Al Downing (Gave up Henry Aaron's 715th HR), Troy Vincent, Jon Stewart and Ernie Kovacs
