I recently lost My Mom, thought the world was ending, I still do at times, she was such a key part of our lives

I'm truly sorry to hear about your mother and totally agree with you about how special they are to us. I don't get to visit mine very often, but when I do, she always has lots of hugs and an endless smile for me. She also remembers all of my favorite breakfasts, lunches and dinners and always makes them when I do get to visit.

I am thankful that I've had the opportunity to spend an incredibly phenomenal amount of time on the phone and chatting with a very special lady {and her special cat} I met back in July.

I am thankful that I have a wonderful mother and father that have always been good to me and there when I needed them.

I am thankful that I have super mature and understanding little sister that has always had time for one of my indefinite phone calls irregardless of the fact that she has three young, hyper children that always need her time and energy.

I am thankful for all the close friendships that I've made and kept since high school and throughout my life.

I am thankful for the two wonderful black labs that I have that are always super excited and happy when they see my vehicle coming down the road.

I am thankful that I have been very lucky and successful in all my endeavors, both personal and business.

And last but not least, I am thankful that this country hasn't experienced any other attacks or had any innocent civilians killed or maimed on a mass scale since 9-11. Lets hope it stays that way.

i would like to express my thanks for so many things at this point in time. Most importantly, we are safe having survived the worst disaster to strike in this countries history. Through it all, my precious Mistress Hathor has stayed with me like a steady rudder. I'm very thankful for her guidance and wisdom through it all. Although our connection has been etherial, it has been extrodinary. The Mistress is one of the deepest and most caring people who it's been my good fortune to meet and i'm so honored that she has given of herself to me. She is attractive physically and spiritually and has captured me in both realms. She suffers the pitfalls of life as we all do, but is enduring in her strength and wisdom.

i can't stay how strongly i am attracted to her and thankful that she has become part of my soul.

If I can add to mandeville's post ( mb321)--he and his family ran from Katrina, then had to turn around and run from Rita--they now live in an RV at night while his home is being repaired--he is indeed one of the lucky ones, they will recover, but for those few days, we all felt the fear---we have lost so many of our New Orleans, Gulf Coast friends--
