Okay kids, I've decided I hate hotel shopping!!!!! I've done so many comparisons that I don't know what is what anymore. Steel wanted something with a kitchen, so I'm leaning towards the Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas South (I-15 and Russell Rd, near the south end of the strip). Four floors, rated 4 stars out of 5 by guests (although bed comfort was not rated, and a good bed is the most important thing to me), full breakfast buffet if you don't want to make your own. Must have a credit card to check in (although you can pay with other means, must have a credit and not just a debit card). All of these have kitchens/kitchenettes: A studio (one big room) with 1 king bed and 1 sleeper sofa is $169/night, with tax the total for 3 nights is $570, so roughly $300 each for two couples. 1 one bedroom suite with 1 queen bed and 1 sleeper sofa is the same price (the tradeoff is the bedroom is private but the bed is smaller). 2 bedroom suite with a queen bed in each bedroom and 1 sleeper sofa is $199 per night, with tax the total for 3 nights is $650, so that's $220 per couple for 3 couples (or if you want to give the sofa peeps a break, $240 for each bedroom and $180 for the sofa). If two couples take the room it's $325 per couple. Thoughts? Cali
