Comments made in the "13th Warrior"

"Keep your teeth together and get back to work woman!"

Woman: "The sound you make is a woman's sound."
Man: "Do that again and I'll make you make it."

If you haven't seen the movie I suggest you watch it. The movie is cheesy, funny, adventurous, and spooky all at the same time. I garuntee you'll like it and the all the quotes.

I'll second that. I almost choked when I heard "the magic spell" for the first time... just a little familiar!

In your profile I'm not exactly sure who you are seeing, but I'd like the 4 of us to go on double date.

IrishMist -> RE: What's your favorite movie quote? (11/24/2005 7:33:20 AM)

Ok, I am surprised that no one has used this one yet

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn"Clark Gable; Gone With the Wind

"You want answers""
"I want the truth"
"You can't handle the truth"
Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson; A Few Good Men

"That's mighty brave talk for a one-eyed fat man"
"Fill your hands you son of a bitch"
True Grit

"You're too old and too fat to be jumping fences"
"Well, come see a fat old man sometime"
True Grit

Not 100% sure that this is the correct quote but it was something like this;

"Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war for his country by dying; he won the war by making the other poor bastard die for his"Patton

I'm too lazy to get the links to similar threads on this topic, but here's one I didn't use before

from: Team America: World Police

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes: assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is: they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate - and it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes, pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves... because pussies are an inch and half away from ass holes. I don't know much about this crazy, crazy world, but I do know this: If you don't let us fuck this asshole, we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit!

and then later:

Lisa: [to Gary] You had me at "dicks fuck assholes".

-chuckles- Well... I'm not really seeing anyone exactly. I've been talking to a switch from Washington with intentions to meet sometime in the future.

Sometimes you have to 'slap' them in the face, just to get there attention.

What is your favorite line from a movie?

OK it's a long one but it is my all time favorite.

Samuel L. Jackson - Pulp Fiction
There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you. I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin': it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.

It's in my top ten favoriates. And to think, producers had to pay heafty fines to have that quote said for the public to hear.

But let's not forget "Yippie Ki Yay Mother Fucker" Bruce Willis from Die Hard. I have yet to see any quotes from the Blues Brothers nor any Mel Brooks movies such as Blazeing Saddles and History of the World. Also, let's not forget about South Park the Movie Bigger, Longer, and Uncutt. Before then I never thought about calling anyone a "Shit Face Cock Master" nor figured to just "Blame Canada" How about the advice "I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and dosen't die" Anyhow, I'm sure people will continue to post quotes. It's the holidays. Just give everyone a break and I'm sure more people will begin posting again after Monday.

Well, right now I'm watching "Every Sperm is Sacred" from Meaning of Life. A few good ones in there.
But I'd have to say my favorite is from "Support Your Local Sheriff" - Bruce Dern to James Garner: "Well that's just plain dumb and stupid". I use that daily.
