It sounds like the very serious Dominant Disease.

It's a rare and deadly disease only caught by dominant type people (thus can only be diagnosed by those "in the know").

Seriously, though, see a doctor.

None of us here are doctors, and even if one of us was,
they'd know better than to try and diagnose without actually seeing the patient.

Per the OP: "It's making me really worried because the doctors aren't sure what is wrong."

Reading Comprehension... grrr.

Well Op, Call it the plague for now, and have them start treating it.

NO lie, Ive been sick for the last 4 months off  and on with something terribly nasty and similar symptoms, I told the 5th doctor that it was the plague, he gave me antibiotics, (per the plague) and It cleared up... no lie

Well said. There are doctors here, BTW, but they most likely wouldn't touch a thread like this.

Fasy Reply, and thus addressed to none in Particular:

This *is* in the "Health and Safety" sub-forum.

The OP is concerned,
that her DOM has had no clear diagnosis for his situation,
from what various and sundry DOCTORS have been consulted thusfar.

Silly of her to come here for advice in such a circumstance?

THIS IS NOT THE FORUM FOR DISSING.

If you disagree, PM me on the other side. Don't be "noise" in here.

sub forum?  Huh?

 It is a forum for exchanging ideas, thoughts and suggestions, which is exactly what was done thus far.

Sub forum? As in submissive forum? I didn't see that sign on the door.

Wow, that is *definitely*...um, anything.

But, other people have been right, you have to just keep pushing on different doctors until you get a feeling that one of them knows what they're talking about. None of us can see the patient very clearly from here.

Good luck. I know how it feels to know your dom hurts but not be able to help.

I am 'guessing' that Kiyari meant sub as in 'division of '.
And I am going to agree with Kiyari to an extent.  I am witnessing people not reading what the OP has asked.
I think it is pretty much a 'give me your thoughts so I can go back to the doctor and make suggestions' kind of advice asking.

I would look at appendix, make sure they have done bloodwork, check the water supply, ulcers and usual stomach complaints.  Otherwise it depends what kind of med care you are on I would guess, as to what other tests etc can be done.

Thank you the.dark, for translating me, in this context. I am a kludge in many ways.

I meant no (undeserved) disrespect, here.

From threads past, in this forum, there HAVE been situations richly deserving of ridicule.

It just seemed to me, that This Thread, was not among them.

As long as I did not place words in your mouth that were not there Kiyari.  I totally agree this thread - to me - did not deserve the ridicule from the few that it did.

Hello,

My Master had that nausea thing too, it was due to a severe chronical sinus cold, a virus and this caused liver values to increase. it could be also an inflammation. I suggested to Him very good meds against sinus cold if you want to know please message me and He got antibiotics in addition. Then the nausea and dizzyness stopped after about 6 months during which His doctor who called herself a friend let Him suffer for no reason. Nausea can also come from the ear but then it would not stop people from eating and such. I think it may be a combination of sinus cold and virus infection. Does he also suffer of fatigue ? To be on the safe side send Him to a doctor to do a medical checkup.

Greetings

Also check for tuberculosis, lyme disease or borreliosis, hepatitis, meningitis, infectious mononucleosis, inflammations and also send Him to the dentist.

I read it as sub forum, meaning an actual sub forum of the larger forums.

OP, it is really had not knowing what is happening and I understand how the imagination can go to bizarre places. I really hope that it is something easily cleared up, like Cali said.. maybe the rush is to begin treatment and you're letting your fear read into things.

I had many of the same symptoms, it turned out that my gallbladder was slowly getting ready to rupture and that was complicated by near constant Lupus flare ups. No one realized it was the gallbladder til it burst one Sunday morning as my ex drove me to the hospital. I spent nearly a year trying to find the cause.

By now you probably have had the test results back and I'm hoping for good news.

Perhaps you misunderstood my post? The fact remains that this, while it is a "Health and Safety" section, probably isn't the best place to seek medical advice. The internet is a big place, and likely there are forums where this post can get out to a larger variety of people who might be more knowledgeable about health concerns.

  Although I wasn't nice about it, my advice still holds true....a doctor would know better than us what was going on, and Collarme isn't the best place to do medical research. I didn't see "be syrupy sweet" in the TOS.

  When you're the moderator or my dominant, then I'll do what you say.

To the OP: I suggest that you and your dom (either/both) keep a journal of his symptoms. Doctors like to ignore little problems...if you tell them, well, yes, he's only nauseous sometimes, they might ignore it. If you say he's nauseous 10 days out of 14 and have a calander to prove it, they'll take you more seriously. I also suggest that you try other doctors if you can...if the local docs are stumped, drive to the nearest big city to visit a fancy doctor.

  Feeling nauseous and losing weight is pretty much a beginning symptom of loads of diseases, ranging from deadly to ignorable. It might be the unfortunate case that you two simply have to wait and see what the next symptom will be.

As a subbie, I suggest you do your best to fatten up your dom when he's feeling alright (if his weight is too low). People who might be too sick for normal foods might feel well enough to eat junk food. Keep something he loves around for him to nibble on when he's feeling okay. Good luck.

Fast Reply, and so addressed to None in Particular:

Only in fantasy, or Hollywood, does one's physician actually care. Sad to say.

~~~~~
Generically speaking.
No offense intended, none whatsoever,
to those physicians, who actually care about their patients.
~~~~~

And worse, just speaking generically, the average "physician" is ignorant, indeed.

One example. First person.

When I was about to visit Peru,
a place where Hep A (the food-borne Hep) was... prevelant,
I went to my local doctor for the prophylactic injection.

The fellow was more than clueless.

*I* had to tell him, not only the medicine, but the very DOSAGE called for.

...

Merely because they may be in posession of minimal credentials
which ['legally'] permit them to append "MD" to their names,
does not -sadly- translate into any demonstrable brain-function, sad to say.

Anecdotal experience... what we in this forum may offer...

Well, that is what this Forums' strength and value potentially is.

Get him to a gastroenterologist. Offhand, it sounds like Crohns, Colitis or the ilk. Or parasites such as Giardia.

has this person, per chance, started taking that 'chantix', non-smoking drug?  or, given up something 'cold turkey' that is addictive, such as nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, cocaine, meth, etc.?

Same thing happened to my dad... turned out to be a combination of ulcerative colitis and gallbladder infection. Took the doctors about six months to figure it all out.

Also, a hernia can sometimes have similar symptoms.  As mentioned before, please keep pestering EVERY doctor you can until you find out what he has.
