There are plenty of 30 somethings out there. It's kind of like everything else. You can never seem to find what you are looking for except when you are no longer looking.

It is something opposite sex friends sometimes do: a gal or guy steers a guy or gal to his or her friend and acts as a go-between. Since your post I have convinced myself I shouldn't stress over only meeting younger women.

Where are all the 30 year olds? Out working their tails off to pay taxes to a Government (You name the country) in order that said Government can keep all us 60 and 60+ fold in a manner which we have become accoustomed and to subsidise our BDSM gear and cost of owning younge nubile slaves.... Used to be that you never saw anyone under 40 in community circles. Prior to the advent of Internet, discovering the community took time, effort, and wherewithal that generally comes with age-related experience. Some remained in the closet until the free exchange of BDSM information became a daily experience. Here in So Cal we have groups specifically for the "Generation X," (20's and 30's). The younger community here presents very different BDSM environment from what I grew up with. Some local dungeons have dance nights. Diversity within the community has blossomed in unexpected directions.

I think maybe it is because most of the 30 year olds are currently in relationships? The younger ones may not have found anyone yet and the older ones are looking for #2 or #3 because the first one didn't work out. The 30s are in the middle of #1 or just getting on with a bad breakup-not sure, but in vanilla world, that is the case
