We Canucks are a heartier breed so we come with a 5 year extended warranty for only $19.95 more

As if our balance of trade doesn't already stink, now we need to import our subs.

But your replacement parts are so hard to find, and the instructions come in French
At least that's better than Ikea. With Ikea, all you get is a diagram showing piece A being slid into piece B. And God, help you if the sticker labelling piece B came off.....

But faery, I can speak spanish... I grew up in NY.
And sorry, bear, but it had to be said :)

hence why your instructions are in spanish and not french...because usa = english/spanish and canada = english/french.
  now go watch canadian bacon.

I am so glad that all the experienced people replied so kindly, but some of you really missed the point completely. This point wasnt meant for the experienced subs, but for those that are new, naive and dont know better. Yes, I was a parent and can tell many stories of children swallowing things that led to surgeries, so vampire before you speak, I would never let my children, pet, sub, slave ever swallow anything that COULD lead to something potentially dangerous. In my lifetime, I've had friends raped, abused, beaten up, and when given the chance to offer or to drop a piece of advice out there, I will do it.  And all you experienced people should know that there are plenty of fake people playing "doms" and "dommes" out there, and with knowledge comes power. Not everyone in the world is a smart person, or knows what to look for.
So I would think that when someone give good advice for other people, then instead of showing how good you are at knocking it, why dont you add to it and continue with it.
I thought this was a forum to learn and have fun

. o ( insert tab A into slot B... repeat as necessary)

This is a forum to learn and enjoy. If a sub is stupid enough to swallow something that is going to hospitalize them becaue a Dom said so, do you really think their reading your advice is going to change anything?
You came off as a major one twue way-ist which is what earner you the ragging.
The human body is amazingy able to deal with the stupidity it is put through. There is a disorder in which people eat inatimate objects compulsively. They survive it, too. I have had friends children hospitalized and in for surgery for eatting chicken and peanuts. What does that tell you about what we should and shouldnt allow our subs to eat?
Get off your high horse.

I have been a member of this site for a few years now but have just recently found myself drawn to the message boards. Like yourself this is my first post/reply, and for some odd reason picked this one to break my cherry, go figure. Now I could be wrong, it would not be the first time, or maybe I just read the wrong book but......I thought the first concern of a Dom was, blow job. Can she give a good blow job? What do her lips look like? and yes, Putting things in her mouth and throat. Maybe you should recheck your book? First page, first paragraph.

What you have posted may be all well and good for swingers, yahoo chats etc but most that come to these boards aren't little lambs ,in fact most subs are more experienced the the majority of new doms and could teach them a thing or two..I believe for your very first post you have bitten off more then you can chew..Just chill until you get a good feel for the boards..newbies are welcome but don't be offended if the board bites back smile...bounty

Your internal organs are not steel and cannot process inanimate objects like a goat or a sheep.

Ok as a someone who works in agriculture I would like to point out that dispite all of those ideas people seem to get from cartoons and the like, goats and sheep CANNOT eat anything and everything and be just fine with it.  Actually, you can eat metal or marbles as Diurnal point out and have them pass through much easier than it would through these or any ruminant animal.  They wouldn't get past the reticulum (stomach #2) but would just accumulate there until there was no more room for real food, or it any piece of trash that was sharp got in there they could puncture them self.  It's called hardware disease.

Oh and blah blah blah, ...everyone's kink is different.
To qoute the wise writers of TV sitcom theme songs:
Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum,
What might be right for you, may not be right for some.
A man is born, he's a man of means.
Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.
But they got, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Everybody's got a special kind of story
Everybody finds a way to shine,
It don't matter that you got not alot
So what,
They'll have theirs, and you'll have yours, and I'll have mine.
And together we'll be fine....
Because it takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.
Yes it does.
It takes, Diff'rent Strokes to move the world.

You're assuming your advice is good, there's the main problem.

Dude, I know you had good intentions, but what you did that set everyone off was descend on a forum that has been running for YEARS....there are people here with post counts in the thousands and tens of thousands, and you virtually set up a pulpit, jumped up on it and started preaching to the perceived poor, helpless subs like you think it never entered anyone else's mind in here to take precautions or get an education before jumping into BDSM World with both feet and blinders on, or to give out some advice WHEN IT'S ASKED FOR.

If you had taken the time to look around the forum before you started broadcasting, you'd find that there has already been a hell of a lot of good advice passed around over the years that is there for the taking. And, you'd also know that there are a lot of inexperienced subs who will do what they want regardless of all the warnings posted all over the place.

So, welcome to the forum, I like your tie, why not settle in, get the feel of the place for awhile and  I guarantee you'll get a much warmer reception next time.

You gave advice from one point of view in an egotistical manner and behaved as though your view is the one TWUE view. Therefore, your advice was flawed.

You're correct, the forums are for learning and fun. We're having fun and hopefully you're learning.

Let's try this again.

This forum is like a large room in which an ongoing conversation about BDSM has been going on for many years.  You have come in, stood up straight, and made this very bold statement in a very authoritative fashion and in a way that implies to those that have been here for years having discussions that go far beyond that, that you are some sort of expert and that they should listen to you.  What you should have said was "Hello"

And now they are dancing in your thread.

Hope that helps.
